  1. Well, still not got anywhere with 247 Money Box. They keep texting and leaving voice mails saying I'm over due and when I email them with my proposal and I&E statement, they ignore this and just say - when are you going to pay the full amount. It is like they are not actually reading my emails and sending an automated reply. I have now sent 6 email and web chat. Offers have been refused and last two emails have ignored what I have said and just asked for date I will be making full payment. All my other PD loans accepted offers in the fisrt email so surprised this company is beign so reluctant. The fees added since 27th July have now exceeded £200.00 and they said they won't stop adding fees. Any advice?
  2. My online chat with 247money box and then it went silent with them - no reply.......... Thanks. Please hold whilst I bring up your account. Dijon: Looking at your account I need to make you aware that the automated system will attempt collection for 7 days from today and also on your next 2 pay dates and 7 days from those dates due toe default. Dijon: I understand you would like a payment plan? Consumer Consumer: Yes, the other 5 pay day lenders have all agreed to a repayment plan based on the budget summary I supplied. Dijon: What was the reason you couldn't make full payment today? Consumer Consumer: I have taken on too may pay day loans and all were due toda y in full exceeding £1800 which I could not afford. I have been neglecting my priotiry bills such as council tax, electric and rent and based on financial advice was recommened to pay the priority bills. Dijon: How much per calender month was you looking to pay? Consumer Consumer: In view of my circumstances, please would you agree to accept a reduced offer of £15 per month. If interest or other charges are being added to the account I would be grateful if you would freeze these so that all payments made will reduce what I owe you. Dijon: Have you sent in your financial statement? Consumer Consumer: Yes to Michael Dijon: Please bare with me Consumer.. Dijon: Your first payment will have to be the most expensive in order to freeze your account.. How much can you afford to freeze all fees, interest and charges? Consumer Consumer: Only the £15. I can't pay more as this would be unfair to the other creditors and is based on an accurate and fair picture of my financial state. Can I check with you if 247moneybox has signed up to the Pay Day Lender Charter introduced today? Dijon: I'll have to seek confirmation of regards to this. But as stated before we will need a higher payment in order to freeze the account, Dijon: When will you have funds available? Consumer Consumer: I'm unable to commit to a higher amount as this would mean not paying bills such as food, rent which are priority. This financial situation will be the same for at least the next 3 months where I hope to review and increase payments to all my creditors Consumer Consumer: I am sorry that you feel unable to accept my offer. All of my other creditors have accepted and payments to them have commenced. I cannot offer you more as you will see from my financial statement that I have limited monies available to divide between all my creditors and it would be unfair to favour your company at the expense of others who have agreed to my offer. Please reconsider your decision in the light of what the other creditors have accepted. By adding on interest and fees, this will only increase the debt for me and make it more unlikely for me to be able to pay back what is due.
  3. Thanks. They have my budget but still refusing so I think I should tell them to take it to court. Everyone else has been great and no one tried to take money from my account today that I had plans in place with.
  4. Not getting anywhere with 247moneybox. They have refused my offer and stated that they will continue adding fees and interest and will try my account for payments every week and for the enxt 2 pay days. I can't get through to them at all.
  5. Another email to them: Thank you for your reply. I am sorry that you feel unable to accept my offer. I would appreciate if you could provide me with your bank account number, sort code and reference so that I can make my monthly payment anyway. Regards,
  6. 247 Money Box just want to add on interest on daily basis - what can I do?? Thank you for your e-mail. All payments made will reduce your account balance, also this will reduce interest applied to your account on a daily basis. I am unable to accept your offer of £15.00 PCM and freeze interest and fees on your account. Your full account balance is due on your repayment date. If we can't collect payment from your debit card on your repayment day, the following fees will apply: • Failed collection fee: £20 on day 1 • Interest will continue to accrue on a daily basis • Up to 5 letters are sent, each charged at £10 (first letter sent is free) You can call our team on 0207 183 8078 or visit our live chat http://www.247Moneyboxchat.co.uk
  7. Thanks Jamie. I should have done this a long time ago. I really believe that by contacting them before I defaulted, it put me in better place with them. Only 247 and Wonga to go.
  8. Update! Txt Loan - accepted payment plan of £10, to be reviewed in 3 months WDA - accepted payment plan of £10, to be reviewed in 3 months Cash Genie - accepted payment plan of £25.00 permanently PDUK - £25.00 for 4 months but want my debit card details, refused and asked for their bank details Wonga - to be contacted shortly 247 Money box - currently wont assist with payment plan until I default
  9. 247 Money box reply. Odd they want me to default befoe I make plans with them! Thank you for your email. However, I am very keen to make a payment plan before I default, which will be the case, I enclose a Personal Budget sheet which shows my total income from all sources, and our outgoings. As you can see we have imited monies nowleft for our creditors. The offers I have made to ,my creditors have worked out on a pro−rata basis, and I have written to all my creditors asking them to accept reduced payments. All but yourself have accepted reduced payments In view of my circumstances, please would you agree to accept a reduced offer of £15 per month. If interest or other charges are being added to the account I would be grateful if you would freeze these so that all payments made will reduce what I owe you. Should my circumstances improve I will contact you again. I can only correspond on this matter in writing and unable to accept any phones at my work number. We would be grateful if you would send me your bank account number, sort code and my reference so that I can make payments promptly. Thank you for your assistance.
  10. So should I write back to 247 Money box stating that I want a repayment plan before I default??
  11. Wow, I think if you get in touch with the companies before you default, they are more sympathetic: Txt Loan - accepted payment plan of £10, to be reviewed in 3 months WDA - accepted payment plan of £10, to be reviewed in 3 months Cash Genie - accepted payment plan of £25.00 permanently Wonga - to be contacted shortly 247 Money Box responded with following: Thank you for your e-mail.Your account balance is due for full repayment on your repayment date. If this payment is not available then there will be fees and interest applied to your account. If you wish to discuss repayment plan then you will need to speak to a collections agent on your repayment date, and have sufficient payment available and they will see if you are eligible for a repayment plan. They only gave me the option of live chat or phone call which I do not want to do. Any suggestions? Thanks. Sam
  12. Thank you very much for your advice. At this moment in time I have not defaulted with any pay day loan but was pre-empting difficulties on pay day. Perhaps this is why so far all that have responded have been more than understanding: Txt Loan - accepted payment plan of £10, to be reviewed in 3 months WDA - accepted payment plan of £10, to be reviewed in 3 months 247 Money Box - awaiting reply Cash Genie - awaiting reply, have not defaulted with them or anyone else, so as far as they are concerned no problem with payment on 26th. However. all my bank details are jumbled up on my online account with them (not sure when this happened). Am quite concerned they may try anotehr account for payment. Wonga - will contact this week Thanks. Sam
  13. Do you know why Cash Genie would change my bank account without my knowledge? As far as we are both concerned I'm paying in full on 26th from my usual account and not my new one.
  14. Was just logging on to some PD loans accounts that had not replied my offer (although I did only send the emails on Friday) and to my horror one loan company (I'm not in default at all with this company) had my bank details listed with my NEW card details. They had the new sort code and account number although the bank name, and 16 digit card number with expiry date is for the usual card they debit, so very conflicting. They only way I can think of this happening is through applying for a loan a month or two back with my new details although I didn't go through with loan. Please correct me if I'm wrong but it is my understanding with Cash Genie that they debit the 16 digit card number each month (it comes up as VISA debit on my bank statement) and it is not a direct debit like Wage Day Advance. I'm a bit confused why they have the account number and sort code for my new account but the bank name, 16 digit no, etc is for old account - so all jumbled. Anyway, I have cancelled my new bank card so will get a new 16 digit number, so should be ok? Any advice would be very appreciated. I hate to think I have cancelled card for nothing! As far as Cash Genie is concerned I'm an excellent payer and to be honest I don't know when these details changed on my account with them.
  15. So, Txt Loan extremely helpful and accomodating and now on payment plan. PDUK replied today and have just asked for I&E so will get that done. WDA 2nd reply with: We are able to request a copy of your bank statement in order to set up an arrangement your account however if you do not wish to send this then this is fine. In same email they are querying why my travel expenses are so high so will explain that (I live over 30 miles from work so £14 x 6 days - thats the maths!)
