  1. Well, had a suprise this morning the fscs have settled my claim. I have a cheque for £7522.76 Very pleased, many thanks for your help on this matter.
  2. Hi dx100uk Many thanks for your help, I have the agreement and it is not regulated by the CCA 1974, again they state I should contact the FSCS and they can deal with the PPI complaint. Is this my only option to claim the PPI, how do I deal with the FSCS Many thanks and for your help
  3. Hi dx100uk Sorry but whats a cca, I am a bit slow the the TLA today. If was IT with DNS, WINS and AD not a problem but a CCA you lost me I am affraid. Cheers
  4. Thats the problem I cannot find the original agreement only subsequent letters from Nemo. I know I have it somewhere but its not where it should be. Can I request a copy from Nemo?
  5. I have a letter today from NEMO and it states the following "I am able to confirm from checking our records that your loan, and payment protection policy, was arranged by a broker with Nemo Personal Finance acting as the lender. Therefore, because Loan Makers made the arrangements, responisbility for investigating complaints rests with them." "Loan makes has ceased trading, under these circumstances you may wish to refer your compaint to the Financial Service Compensation Scheme, which is an organisation setup to compensate customers of financial businesses that have ceased trading." Do I now leave NEMO alone and contact the Financial Service Compensation Scheme, please advise Regards, Peter
  6. I have been reading that those who have claimed back from NEMO they then find the company increases its interest rates following the claim. What can be done about that
  7. Hi I have done just that today. But I am sure I got the loan via a broker who has since gone bust, but I assume nemo are the ones who should refund the PPI
  8. I toke a loan out with Nemo about 5 years ago with PPI. When the loan was taken out I was woking for a company so decided that PPI was a good idea. Last year I was made redundant and decided to go self employed, my question is is the PPI now worthless. I called Nemo last month to dicuss and was told that they would still payout if I was not earning, but everything I have read online tends to say not. Can someone please confirm if the PPI is worthless, if it is all I want is the PPI stopped and pay the loan only. How would I go about having the PPI removed
