  3. I am at the claim filing stage for two accounts going back six years. About 10 years ago my old tsb account was closed .This was opened in the 1970's-80's. Can I claim charges back as far as the 70's, or only post 1980? Also can I claim these charges after the claim for my present account charges has been to court, or do I have to lump them altogether as one claim? The total I'm claiming for my present accounts is about 3,500 pounds, and the Inland Revenue are getting that for overdue tax: overdue not in small part to the banks behaviour. So I need to be as quick as I can paying the
  4. Hi again Martin3030, Thanks for the advice. When I send my LBA should I add penalty charges to the list which have been taken from me since the last list of charges I sent them?
  5. Hi Rooster and Goldlady, Sorry I have not posted for the last few days. I've been working away from home and have not had access to a computer. I'm going to wait for the rest of my statements . I don't quite understand why they owe me money, although obviously I'll be very happy if they do. Yes the 984 pounds is all penalty charges, which is what is keeping my debt so high.
  6. I am at present in debt to this lot for just over 1200 pounds. However I received my statements this morning going back to 2004. There's more statements to come. The total of charges for this period is 984 pounds with interest payments totalling around 550 pounds. Total 1534 pounds. They have also received payments from me of around 700 pounds. Is there a chance they might just wipe the debt out as the charges are obviously unlawful, and it would only mean pressing a few buttons, instead of all the court rigmarole? Is there a template letter for someone in my position, who maybe has no mo
  7. I received a second letter from Lloyds TSB at the beginning of April, stating they could'nt agree to my claim for charges( the standard 8 week stalling tactic). However, due to a lack of funds, and work commitments, trying to keep the Inland Revenue happy, and generally being down about my situation I have only been able to work on my claim sporadically. Do I have to start over again, or is nearly 3 months since I last communicated with them still a reasonable time to start the court process. My preparation for N1 stage is almost complete, apart from filling the form itself. Also, whe
  8. I can make the 11th but can't too get drunk as I'm working Would prefer 18th. Will go with the majority.
  9. Good Luck Mate. I'm just looking to find details of an old tsb account going back to the 1980's. Should be fun.
  10. Hi, Count me in. I live in Leeds. Just an idea, but Wetherspoons is always good for cheapish drinks, particularly in city centres, and of course the food is good and cheap. Someone mentioned Stalybridge. Is that lovely little freehouse still on the platform? I'm usually working nights at weekends, so please decide when and where.
  11. Hi Buzby, I will be back in a few days with more details.
  12. A couple of years ago I received my phone bill. It had roughly 250 pounds(sorry no pound note signs on this computer) of calls on it that neither myself or anyone in the home had made. The calls were somehow initiated from eastern europe. I asked BT what I could do about it. They told me who had made the call , even gave me their address, but still charged ME for them. Does anyone else have any experience if this?BT said I still had to pay. Nice one, eh!
  13. Has anyone had any dealings with American Express? I have charges to claim from them , but can't find them on the site.
