  1. The only advice I can offer is to send the DPA non-compliance letter if all the info doesn't come through in time. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/6986-data-protection-act-non.html Alternatively, do you have internet banking? If so, you could just get all the details of charges from the statements there. Good luck
  2. Hi last in, best of luck to you, if you need any help just post your query in your thread, we'll all be around to help
  3. As far as I know, as long as the correct procedures have been followed, no-one from this site has lost in court with ANY bank. Also, no-one has got as far as a final court hearing! as long as you read the FAQs and follow the instructions, you'll be fine. If you set up a thread in the Barclays forum when you start your claim, we can answer any queries you might have
  4. Excellent, well done you :D Will get your thread moved to successes
  5. If you want to claim back the interest on the charges, you need to use this spreadsheet http://www.cag-files.co.uk/barracad/Spreadsheets/England/Complex-credit-card-charges-calc.xls Input all the information it asks for and you will get the amount of debit interest added because of the charges It will also calculate the 8% interest that you can add when you get to MCOL stage. Good luck
  6. As long as they haver agreed to send the statements in whatever form, you have nothing to worry about, wait the rest of the 40 day period, if the statements dont appear after that, send the DPA non compliance letter which is in the bank templates library
  7. DG have issued a defence, settlement approx 2 weeks away methinks
  8. OK, no problem deevs It's perfectly normal procedure for the MCOL to transfer the case to your local court after the defendant has filed a defence. Don't worry about it. Basically everything that is happening in your claim is standard for DG. Ignore the letter from HSBC, they may not be aware that you have issued proceedings. You just need to wait for DG to contact you and make you an offer
  9. I know I know, I'm a site helper and should be able to work it all out for myself. I'm pretty good at the banks stuff etc, but would really appreciate some advice on the parking issue. Scenario: I found a Euro Car Parks parking charge notice in my car glove box today, dated a couple of weeks ago. Being the nice person I am, I frequently lend my car to my sister and ex hubby to ferry the kids around. Neither one of them will own up to being the one who got the ticket. I am the registered keeper of the vehicle, so what do I do now, do I write to Euro Car Parks, or do I wait for them to contact me?
  10. I used to work for HSBC (about 8 years ago). Not long before I left they started the 'unadvised limit' idea. Basically what you were told is correct. They have a limit they will let you go up to based on your 'behaviour score' with them. This is a mixture of how many products you have wih them, how often you go over your limit, how many transactions you make and how much money is going into the account. If they have leant you all they are willing to, your limit will be your OD limit plus £8, which is why sometimes you can go slightly over your limit

    Lee vs HSBC

Hi Lee I wouldn't worry about the letter they have sent, it is a standard fob off letter trying to buy more time. Stick to your original timetable and send the LBA when you're ready Good luck
  12. Excellent I would allow a little extra time (a few days) to be seen to be reasonable before you send the LBA. Best of luck with your claim

    Flibz vs HSBC

I would have to say stick it out, they will pay it all in the end. Accept their offer as part payment (template in Bank Templates library) and press on. If you don't feel confident by all means accept their offer, but we are all here to offer help and advice if you need it
  14. Would that not just be the total interest charged? Solicitor? Ah well as long as they are free

    Binki vs HSBC

Hi Binki, Given that it's a relatively small amount, you should get that back without the palaver of issuing proceedings (hopefully) Good luck

    Albri v Abbey

Hi Rudi First of all, please don't hijack other peoples threads, It causes confusion, and your post might be missed if you have a query Please set up threads in the RBOS and BOS forums where you can kepp us all up to date with your claims, and can ask any questions that you might have Good Luck
  17. DG are getting REALLY boring in their predictability in tactics You will probably receive an offer close to when your AQ is due to be filed, possibly after then, but you will receive one! I would suggest sending a copy schedule with your claim number to DG by email, it will save them asking you for it. [email protected] is probably your best bet
  18. Unlikely to happen d, but you never know Basically, DG Solicitors will stall until you have to file your AQ (and perhaps a bit after that, until they pay you in full. Never a bad idea to email them a schedule of your charges along with the court claim number to hurry things along. The email address I suggest you use is [email protected]
  19. Both Alan Burden and Debbie Daubney are the head honchos at DG Solicitors, when you call him, just explain that you cannot get in touch with his colleague, and demand (nicely) that he sort it out personally
  20. Basically, as long as you were clear about the dates you were claiming back charges from and to you should be able to claim the rest with no problems. Presumably you sent some sort of breakdown of charges with your request, so even that can be used to show which charges you accepted the 'full and final settlement' figure for. Shout if you need any more help. Good luck
  21. I know it might be a bit of a stretch to come up with the AQ fee (if applicable) but they will have to pay it in the end anyway. Keep your chin up, settlement will be just days away
  22. What blueskies said! Definitely call/visit the court to discuss the situation. Plus, if you have already completed an AQ, and LTSB requested a one month stay which was agreed, you shouldn't have to pay another AQ fee, even if the court decides that you need to complete another AQ. Hope this helps.
  23. Hi Cara, Please see my comments to Ian re hijacking threads:) I would say that the templates on this site are a lot better, along with the advice given. Please check these out before doing anything else, and set up a thread in the relevant forum. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/ http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/ Best of luck
  24. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/welcome-our-forum/13182-how-make-posts.html try reading this russel:)
