  1. Thank you for the reply, according to our sons insurers they contacted her to see if she was pursuing the claim so they could close the case, i am still perplexed as her insurers never approached our sons insurer and were never actively seeking a settlement as I understand she thought better of it once she discovered my wife was in the legal 'personal injury' business herself. By contacting her she feels now there is indeed in mileage in pushing once again for personal injury recompense, she even had the audacity to suggest we could pay her in instalments.
  2. Hi, this is my first post so please allow me to apologise first in case I make any mistakes. Our 18 year old son, was recently involved in a very minor bump collision, my son was at fault in respect of his car bumped the other from behind. There was absolutely no damage, my son has a 99 fiesta, and the other driver (female) was driving a large volvo 4x4 they exchanged details as he knows he has to. 2 days later the woman rang my son and said she was in agony and couldn't work, and she said they would have to go through the insurance as she needed physiotherapy(my son is third party fire and theft). My wife rang her that evening again the woman freely agreed their was absolutely no damage to her vehicle but she was in agony and would require physio at this point my wife explained she worked for a personal injury lawyer and she would be happy to arrange the necessary medical reports such a claim would require, after a momentary silence The lady said she was sorry but had to go. My wifes employer advised she contacted my sons insurer and inform them of the details etc, which she did, they said it was unlikely to be pursued as their was no damage to the car, a case for personal injury would be difficult to prove, This was over two weeks ago and we haven't heard anything since until today the lady rang my wife and said she had decided not to pursue but our sons insurance had rung her this morning asking if she wanted to make a claim against my sons policy, and she would be happy to let us pay her physio charges, about £400.00. and not claim What confuses me is why our sons insurance company approached them when she had neither made a claim or intended to make a claim through her own insurers. I hope someone her can explain this to me as my wife and her employer cannot explain it.
