  1. It was packed in a cardboard box and newspaper was creased to surround the microwave. The seller did ask for additional charges for packaging and I agreed as well, I was waiting for the invoice to pay. However, the seller eventually didn't send me an invoice for this charge.
  2. It was auction type. The ebay resolution team has decided the seller's favour so I could not claim to the seller because I arranged the courier by myself.
  3. I bought a microwave oven from ebay auction. As the seller originally offered 'collect in person' but she agreed courier pick up which was arranged by buyer but requested extra fee for packaging material. So I arranged the courier 'Yodo' from the website of 'parcel 2 go'. The oven arrived with door frame cracked, glass turntable broken, one of the stands broken and the door unopened. I believed that it was handled very roughly and carelessly as the door frame was not easily broken. The seller rejected the return and ebay agreed with the seller. The courier rejected to compensate as they claimed that microwave oven was not covered but the courier suggested to pay extra insurance for this item when I bought this service on line. The courier knew what the item was but they didn't pop-up a caution that this insurance was only for loss but not for damaged. I believed if any one knew this item was not covered, definitely no one would pay extra insurance for not covering. I simply would not choose this courer. I now got stuck with a broken microwave which I just bought. Anyone could help whether I could have any right to claim from the courier because they got a trap to consumers by asking extra insurance for an uncovered item, please. Thank you.
