  1. Hi It's a difficult one, Because really you can't have the colleagues talking about the pending investigation, however you should be allowed to communicate ( outside working hours) socially and not about it. If you have a colleague handbook or a company intranet site look for the "guides and polices" if thy are not able to do so, well I would then question there integrity on this issue and demand to know where hey got there advice on reaching that dicissuion. Good luck Tom
  2. Hi Did the courts advise both party's on how and when the £1000 should be paid? Also if you are not able to pay £100 a month and you do write to the courts, you are going to have to prove that can't afford it. So the best way is something called an "incoming & outgoing" report. You have to be really honest and really think about your expenditure at the moment. Now various banks provide this form on there websites or alternatively the direct gov website does as well. I'd also imagine you would have to submit the last 5-9 weeks worth of bank statements to both court and the other party. Anyway the point I'm making is no one can make you hand over money you haven't got but they can make it more of a priority over other debts and outgoings so be careful with your spending over the next year or two. Good luck Tom
  3. Hi I'm really not understanding why they won't just match it for you seeing as they've made the mistake. Its about keeping a customer for life. I tried link it in my previous posts but I'm still on a basic member. But type into google. CEO of Dixons retail, then it will take you to a website which is dedicated for CEOs emails. If your on twitter he'll also respond very sharpish as well. Keep in touch Tom
  4. Hi Appologies that I've missed all this. Have you taken a screenshot of the page? Also Paul from the Knowhow team should be able to get a solution for you. 1 thing I have seen to work quite well is email to the CEO, Seb is very focused on delivering great service so he will make sure something happens. Tom
  5. Hi Absolutely no issues just pop into the store within 7 days and they will refund and resell at the online exclusive price. The reason this could of happened is that the online team reacted to a competitor eg like Amazon. So you can get the online price in store which is good. I hope this helped Tom
  6. Yes definitely get the data for that, because that would be a great for you to have, So your able to question them on why for 3 months they hadn't a problem with it but all of a sudden you do 1 thing 'apparently wrong' and they think they have grounds to dismiss you straight away, its laughable. Like Sidewinder says appeal the decision first and when you get a chance to, talk to them face to face re illiterate to them your position argument, and then they may reconsider there stupid mistake.
  7. Ah right ok, so you have been employed for 4 years with them, but 6 months ago, you made them aware that you need flexibility around your shifts and in return you would work overtime? There is always an argument of an 'Oral Agreement' in a case like this however it can sometimes be very hard to prove. Is there a possibility to get a copy of your last 6 months or as much as possible of your work rota's? because this would show that the Employer has acknowledged the need to help you and has adjusted there rostering around your child care needs
  8. However you have discussed this at the beginning of your employment? And has this been an ongoing discussion with each other?
  9. Hi Mate Have you ever sat down together and discussed this in a review or better yet put it down on paper? Tom
