  1. Flight El046 - Sunday 25 March 2012 Departs Belfast Internation (BFS) 15.00 Arrives Barcelona - Terminal 2 (BCN) 18.35 I arrived at Belfast Airport approximately 2 hours before departure. I proceeded to the check-in desk only to be informed that I was too early to check in and I would have to wait. Approximately 15 minutes later I glanced at the information screen only to find that the flight had actually been cancelled. I went to the check-in desk again to enquire if the flight had been cancelled only to be told that I would have to wait on further information. A short time later I was informed that the flight had been cancelled and that all passengers were going to be bused to Dublin Airport for a later flight. (A flight some 3 hours 30 minutes later.) I was given no explanation why the flight was cancelled. I felt I had no choice but to accept the airlines decision to bus passengers to Dublin. I had pre-booked and paid for accomodation in Barcelona. I had also booked a taxi to pick me up on arrival in Barcelona Airport. (I had to ring to cancel the taxi and ring the hotel to inform them of our late arrival). At no time was I informed of my rights or offered to make phones calls by any member of Aer Lingus staff. I was given a voucher for £3.00 for a cup of coffee while I had to wait on the bus which arrived after 3.00pm. A private coach arrived to take the passengers to Dublin Airport. I was given no flight details, no terminal details etc. In fact the coach just left me stranded in the coach park at Dublin airport. There was no member of Aer Lingus staff to offer any assistance to any passengers.
