Awesome thanks, regarding the correspondance to cc company & bank (re unsecured loan) how best would it be to advise we are leaving the uk ?

Also i know that we cannot set up a po box until we are in oz and we have an oz address, but as we will likely be staying with friends for a bit i dont want to set up anything that can be linked to there. I have seen from another forum a couple of companies that do something similar to this ie passthepost, sosmail and keepingyouposted are you aware of any of these? we were planning to forward our mail via royal mail to one of these and reply from here. Hi guys, Very recently both myself and my partner were made redundant with no rights to compensation pay as we both had been at our employment for just shy of a year etc. This leaves us in a very immediate dire situation as we cannot see how we can pay our bills at the end of this month / next month. We have approached everyone, banks, cc companies etc with a mind of perhaps a break for a month, 2 at the max in order to find work and continue paying but no one will help as they say a lot of people are in the same situation now. Our dilemma is this, if we sell the only thing we have (our transportation) and fly our to Oz in the next few weeks we know we can get well payed jobs quickly due to our career backgrounds etc and at a push we have somewhere to stay for a bit. Put the house on the market - although we do not have time to wait here until it is sold. The idea is to advise the creditors just before we leave, tell them we are leaving the uk permaently and intend on continuing to pay them back once we have found employment, then contacting them once in OZ and in this position to arrange regular monthly payments. Once the house is sold then pay everything off once and for all. However this means that we may not be able to pay them for a couple of months until we get on our feet...the same would be said if we stay here, and i am fearful of staying here too long not finding work soon enough and getting CCJ's etc. I am specifically looking for advice on how to approach the bank via letters etc do we give any forwarding info, should we set up a po box in Oz,? cc companies etc just prior to leaving etc i know i cannot be thoroughly up front with them as i would like to be as they are likely to request everything back immediately which would leave us in a worse situation. Also not sure if it matters but the loan and CC are in my name and the house has never been in my name, however my name was on my folks house up until recently as it helped them get a better rate years ago...i have not lived there for over 20 years and have never payed into the mortgage etc. Thanks, appreciate any feedback / advice!!
