  1. My advice would be to speak to ACAS as they will give you your options from now. Sounds as you have been totally mistreated but it also seems that the manager is using his authority to avoid punishment.
  2. I totally agree natalie, I work for CAB too and we are just so busy! People expect way too much from us sometimes, completely forgetting we are a charity with little cash and mainly staffed by volunteers like us. It does annoy me when people say we're rubbish when they simply don't like the advice given. I had one bloke come back and say I was rubbish last time as I told him he needed to go to his local CAB to sort his problem! Anyone who has bad things to say about CAB should simply think - once we're gone, you'll miss us!
  3. As for contacting CAB try using the National Adviceline - 08444 111 444 from 10am-4pm
  4. Consumer Direct, Citizens Advice & complain to the company stating their lack of care. They should make all efforts to keep your stuff as it was when they received it. They should be liable for all damages but speak to CD & CAB
  5. Wow that was a long post! As far as I know ACAS should already be involved as they are part of the ET. Why not contact them now to find out? As for your chances, personally they look slim. The company can argue that several forms were late and get the case thrown out. You could just keep going and see what happens or just give up and walk away as you got screwed over...
  6. My advice is to wait for the decision and then contact someone like Citizens Advice if you failed. They will be able to help sort this mess out.
  7. That sicknote only covers you til 20th, so go back to work on 21st or get another one.
