Hi There Not really sure how this site works yet, but you replied to my query about a statute barred debt last week and i was hoping you could give me further advice. To let you understand, a company has been harassing me to pay back money they say i owe. I have never made contact with this company nor have i acknowledged this debt in any way for over 6 years. When i purchased a credit check last year it showed that i had defaulted in payment with this company several years ago, but on the new report i requested today, there is no sign of it. I live in Scotland. Does this mean that this debt is now statute barred and do you think it would be appropriate now for me to send the Statute Barred letter which is located in the template file.
