  1. Thanks for quick responses - I will ignore and let you know what happens if anything :o) Also it doesn't mention anything on the notice that it is the driver that is responsible for the 'charge' rather than the owner which according to another post is against BPA code.
  2. Hello, My vehicle was recently given a parking charge notice at the exact same car park although on the grass rather than in disabled bay (code 04 parked in such a way as to cause an obstruction OR was parked outside the markings of a parking bay). I was initially going to write the below wording as an appeal but from the majority of advice (and seeing a clip of a solicitor make a paper aeroplane out of a MET letter on Watchdog) it seems I should just stay quiet as it rarely goes to court and unenforceable anyway. Is that about right? If they did decide to take me to court do you think I would have a case: My solicitors advise me that your Parking Charge is unenforceable. Although I am the registered keeper of the vehicle, Reg. no. **** ***, for the sake of their privacy I am not prepared to disclose the names of those who were using it on the so-called contravention date. When joining the gym it is stated that it is a FREE car park meaning the thought of looking for a sign never enters ones head. There are no signs clearly visible in the pictures on the review. The signs around the car park face inward so when going round the car park not clear to see. There are no details on the signs to say that the grass area around the car park is also patrolled by MET. The £100 is a far too excessive a charge; three months membership is £79. Thanks for reading and any advice greatfully received. Steve
