no written notice, just the notice above the cooker this morning, he said he did it because the cooker was being used "inappropriately" meaning someone was in the kitchen with all 4 hobs on but not cooking anything, trying to stay warm probably as the landlord skimps on the heating also. That probably is the case but it no reason to deny the entire house cooking facilities, I mentioned to him that 6 people will not be able to use the cooker in the short time allocated and it went in one ear and out the other.

hello, I just registered here as it seems like the right place to seek advice on this. This morning I woke up to find a notice posted above the cooker stating that the cooker will be on at the following times during the day: 9:00am - 10:30am 1:00pm - 2:30pm 5:00pm - 6:30pm at all other times the electricity to the cooker is off, so if the SIX people who live here don't manage to get their separate meals prepared in those tight time frames then they don't get a cooked meal (microwave food doesn't qualify as a 'cooked meal' as far as I'm concerned) Is he allowed to do this? thanks edit: in Northern Ireland BTW
