Check Talktalk aren't charging for free upgrade

We took the Picture Box upgrade and was annoyed to find I had been charged over £30 for movie downloads. Apparently the movies are different from Picture Box, which I cannot even find ! To make matters worse because I had gone over my credit limit of £50 by just over £2, my phone was cut off ! Anyone trying to use the phone was redirected to Talktalk, but only I could deal with them. After a LOT of complaining I received a refund but could not make them understand how upsetting it was to lose the phone. What if my teenage children needed to call out in an emergency, my Wife is a Nurse and regularly rings work. What if it had been urgent ? No they didn't grasp it. Why could I still download a film but not use the phone ? No answer. I asked could they have contacted me in advance, first person said they sent an Email, but could not tell me where to. The customer service manager said they do not send emails it is upto the customer to monitor account. So, for the time being I will stick with them, because up to now I have been happy with the service. But I will be considering alternatives in the future. As I said to one of the reps' I feel I have been scammed by the people who should be protecting me. -
Apparently web site shows cars that are not always from the nearest dealer. The mileage is also higher so I am told. It is difficult to negotiate when your wife is telling the salesman it is "just what she wants". We did manage to have various extras to the retail value of over £500, included in the price. I guess bottom line is to have a good look around before you talk to a salesman and leave the wife at home !

The car we are part ex'ing is valued at around the £1250 offered, but I have to admit it is abit battered. At the moment they are saying it is not the same car, no registration shown on website, and that it has higher mileage than the one we are buying. I not convinced but 'Mrs' really wants this car, right spec', right colour... Watch this space.

Is it too late to reject a car we are in the process of purchasing. We called into Bristol street Motors a car caught my wifes eye and we enquired of the price, just over £9000, it was out of our range, following some discussion we agreed on £8000 including her old car value around £1250. I have just seen the same car on their website for £7500 ! If we pull out of the deal will I lose the £500 deposit. I know we are paying the agreed price, but I do not like being conned. Any advice please ?
