  1. I had a business account with Nat West and got into awful problems with the overdraft when the business started to fail. What i don't understand with your case. Is if you were banking £25,000 per week. Why were you constantly using your £35,000 overdraft. Your out goings must have been enormous. If they called your overdraft in after only 6 months. You must have been in constant breach of the £35,000 limit. I am sorry i sound a bit harsh, but you do need to explain things and answer Hedgeys questions and then we can be in a better position to advise you. Good luck.
  2. BRILLIANT AND WELL DONE. I still can't find Cobblers success thread !!!
  3. Hi Cookie nothing to be scared of. What is your court hearing for ? Is it a prelim hearing or your case hearing. If it is your full hearing your court bundle needs to be in court ASAP. Also a copy to Cobbetts and one for yourself. On the other hand ring the court again before you start printing your court bundle, and make sure they have not paid the fee for the stay. Read through this and print off as instructed. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/guidance-notes/64911-got-court-date-guide.html. Good luck and don't be scared to ask any questions.
  4. Typical smoke and mirrors trick. They make up the rules as they go along. Don't bother phoning them. Send them a written request for your penalty charge back. Adjust this to your requirements http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/671-2-letter-preliminary-approach.html and show them you mean business. Good luck.
  5. This will explain about The Registry Trust.. If your claim was a personal claim and not a business claim they seem to have got their wires crossed. Contact them ASAP and question what they have sent you. Searching The Registers
  6. Good luck, be patient and you will triumph.
  7. If i have understood this correctly you still owe them £800 ? A default notice is simply a form issued to you by the creditor telling you that you are in default of your credit agreement - in other words, that you are not up-to-date with your repayments. If you have not made any arrangements to settle the outstanding £800. They will pass your account onto a DCA. Which they have done. You cannot have a default notice removed without the consent of the relevant creditor/lending institution. So i would get in touch with Nat West and negotiate the settlement of the outstanding amount, and ask them to remove the default notice. Good luck.

  15. Had a good look through the internet can't find any relevent Data protection cases. I see you are going to include a disclosure list. Good. You are really trying very hard. Well done.
  16. Looks great. The only thing that sticks out are the damages. The judge may well ask you how you came to realise this figure and you will have to give him the right answer. So what is the answer ??
  17. Shoestring, ABSOLUTELY SPOT-ON. That is why sites like this exist and successfully scale the walls of injustice. The fight is not over yet and this is a bigger can of worms than even the OFT realise. The public will wake up to the banks if this goes against us and the backlash will be huge. There are still thousands of people out there who have not claimed, but will be watching this with great interest. The floating voters if you like. The banks will know the extent of the possible repayment of these charges and will try to limit there losses accordingly. Fortune favours the Brave. So the fight must go on. Good luck Tom.
  18. I don't think there is. Use the witness statement as per the bank charges. Just descibe all the events that have occured or not occured in a date order. Have a little dig around the Information Commissioners site for a witness statement. Good luck. Information Commissioner's Office - ICO
  19. justified, Everything is available here for you to claim successfully for your bank charges. If you go to the FOS now you will have to start again. So onwards and upwards. Please do not be worried to ask any questions however silly they seem. The Consumer Action Group has over 150,000 people as registered users and has helped over 9,000 people to reclaim over £15,000,000. So we can help you. Good luck.
  20. As Lou says you seem to have managed really well upto now. Abbey will not defend your case, because it will certainly not be financially viable to do this. So you will have a full payment shortly. Good luck.
  21. Congratulations and Celebrations to you Hedgey. You have come such a long way and now its your turn. WELL BL**DY DONE.. Especially for you, YouTube - "Congratulations"- Cliff Richard
