  1. Hi, Hope this is in the right place. I recently moved in to, what was agreed with the agent, to be an unfurnished house (the contract simply states that it is for a "furnished or unfurnished property"). I was given the keys at the agent's office, and when I arrived at the house found that the landlord had left beds, tables etc in the house. I've moved it all to the garage attached to the house for now, as I had a van load of my own things that needed to be moved in! Am I able to ask the landlord to move their things in to storage at their own expense, or failing that able to dispose of them myself? I would not have moved in knowing they wanted to leave their things in the house, and it was confirmed as unfurnished by the agent. At the moment the garage is filled with their things so I do not have use of it, so that's not a long term solution in the slightest! So, is there anything I can quote at them that obliges them to move their stuff or lose it? What options do I have if they refuse? Thanks in advance!
