Hi, I am new here and I really hope someone can give me some advice of this matter as I don’t know what to do. On 30th May 2012 I joined Reynolds Fitness Spa in Bexley, Kent. On the reception desk, they had an electronic signature pad. I had to sign the electronic pad a few times and to my knowledge, this was for the various questions he was asking me (health questions, direct debit details etc…). I was always under the impression that I could give 30 days notice to cancel. I emailed the gym to say I would like to cancel and was told that I signed their terms and conditions. I emailed back saying that I have never seen, read or even been told about any terms and conditions. I asked for a copy of the terms and conditions. She emailed me over a blank one with the signature space blank. I asked her to send me a copy of the one I have supposed to have signed and did. The terms and conditions she sent me had my signature on but the signature was from the electronic pad. Not my actual, pen to paper, signature. Where do I stand with this? Help!
