  2. Hi, i have been away from the site for a while now so forgive me if the answer to this has been posted elsewhere. regarding the new FSA ruling in January re: MEAF's, (mortgage exit administration fees) does this count with GE money?? it was more of a secured loan though. the official term on the statement is "repayment administration & discharge fee" can this be claimed and if so, can it just be done over the phone like i did with C&G yesterday? cheers ian

  4. Hi, having seen that certain claims against mortgage companies have gone to court and LOST, and also incurred costs against the claimant, i was wondering if this is likely to spill over into the claims against the banks. Having recently started a claim against lloyds for my brother, he is worried that the banks may follow suit, go to court and win, and thereby incurring costs against him that he cannot afford. can anyone shed any light please? cheers
  5. i claimed for the early redemption charge and have received a letter back saying that i agreed at the beginning of the agreement that i would have to pay an early repayment charge if i repayed early. what do i do now?
  6. hi, what address did you send your prelim to???
  7. does anyone have the address that i should send my preliminary letter to for CHELTENHAM & GLOUCESTER. cheers mollymoo
  8. i now believe i CAN claim a "collect activity fee" it is £170. what do i do next??
  9. hi can someone confirm the following please: can you claim a "collect activity fee" from black horse?? someone has told me you can someone has told me you cannot cheers mollymoo
  10. oh balls. never mind. i can't claim anything from them then. it was a few years ago that i had the loan with them and i just remember having to pay charges left, right and centre. however after looking at my statements it seems that lloyds honoured all my payments to black horse and it was to lloyds that i owed all of the returned direct debits etc... and i have already got all that back. ah well, onwards and upwards. who's next...... c & g me thinks.
  11. i have an ERC FIXED RATE of £2500 and a sealing fee of £225. is the next step the prelim letter?? if so, am i claiming these two things?? am i able to even though it does not say "charge"
  12. can the "collection activity fee" be claimed from black horse??
  13. can the "collect activity fee" be claimed??
  14. the ERC fixed rate is the early repayment charge. i only know this because it is over £2k so, is this basically all i claim for? is there a letter template for this? have just got back from a hectic weekend in glasgow and head is all over the place at the minute. cheers mollymoo
