  1. hi anyone else got any info?
  2. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?160-Benefits-and-HMRC hi, I think I have done that correctly, some more advice would be welcome this also talks more about my previous situation http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?345843-1-year-rule-for-WRAG-contribution
  3. In which case it was the fact that I couldn't work a full time job due to stress/anxiety, this hasn't changed, my understanding is then that if/when I do start full time employment this is the 'change' I would have to notify them of in which case there would in their eyes be no disability anymore.
  4. thanks for replie, but regarding change, what sort of change?
  5. Hi, thought I would come back to this forum for advice because everyone was so helpful in the past. Basically I am in reciept of working tax credit and getting the disability element of this as well. I have been recieving this since roughly last august. However with renewals due very soon, will I continue to recieve this or will it be stopped? I'm not sure what the qualifying conditions would be even though I have read through these they don't make a great deal of sense. What or who makes the decision to review or stop this part of WTC? I know that one of the reasons I got in back in august 2012 was because I had been recieving ESA contribution and council/housing benefit but this entitlement has obviously now stopped. thanks for any help.
  6. Hello everyone, just after some more advice! I've been told that I am now in the WRAG group ESA contribution group and these payments begin from this tuesday 17th april. However this one year rule, does it affect me? I have been claiming ESA contribution assessment money of 67.50 since november 14th 2011, does the 1 year rule include this time from november or does my year start from this coming tuesday? any advice would be much appreciated, thankyou.
  7. Hi everyone, just wanted some advice please. After waiting since the 4th of february since my medical, I got a call last week from a decision maker saying that the nurse that assesed me found me fit for work! She seemed really nice on the phone and asked if there was any other information she was to take into account before making her final decision. After I had spoken to her she also went through what the nurse had written and found some inaccuracies, taking all of this into consideration she said based on this she will probably be able to overturn the decision in my favour. I rang the office again on wednesday last week and it was confirmed to me that it had gone in my favour, and that I would recieve a letter in the next 7 days. Today was my normal benefit payment day and still the same amount as normal was paid in, I rang the basildon job centre, she then confirmed that she had a decision there saying WRAG. She said she is now going to send out the info to me. Question is, have I now got this info coming to me twice? and why didnt she have any record at her end that a letter had been sent out originally? Also will I get any backdated payments at all, do I have to apply for this seperately? Apparently my decision was made at the ramsgate offices and not the basildon one where all my letters seem to come from! I rang the ramsgate one last week to chase up my claim and these were the ones who said a letter would be sent out to me in 7 days. Am i just jumping the gun a bit too soon? thanks for any info?
  8. Hi everyone, I rang up the DWP today to enquire if they had got any info regarding my medical(ESA)that I attended on 4th fEb. She said still awaiting a decision, but she has now put in a request with the office dealing with my claim to ring me back before 11.30am on monday, but I thought the office dealing with my claim was the address my benefit letters come from, in this case basildon.
  9. Hi, anyone else got any info? PS thanks for the advice above:-)
  10. Hi all, just been to my GP tonight to get another medical certificate. Am currently awaiting decision from DWP in regard to outcome of medical I had on 4th feb. However on the med cert doctor has ticked 'maybe able to work', I do not totally disagree with this as I hope to be placed in the WRAG group, but when I send off this current med cert are the people at DWP going to look at this and say 'hey this guy's gp thinks he's capable of work' and stop my benefit? really worried, thanks for any replies PS I do want to find some suitable work eventually, but feel JSA would be the wrong choice at the moment
  11. thankyou for info! On a separate note, how long does it take to get an outcome from medical. I attended my medical on Feb 4th, I have rang the DWP about 3 times since, the last time being yesterday and they still say it is awaiting for a decision maker!
  12. but I thought my entitlement to HB and CT was based on my overall income not just for ESA surely? why would it stop because ESA has? sorry if I come across a bit stupid:lol:
  13. Hi, was just trying to find out, I am currently awaiting the outcome of my medical for ESA, if the result comes back as 'fit for work' or 0 points, will my housing and council tax benefit stop?
