Hi all, I stupidly parked in a parking space of a lady whom I work for who is in supportive living, however I didnt have a valid parking permit. I was issued 2 car parking tickets in the space of 2 hours. My first ticket was issued to me at 17:18, my second ticket was issued to me at 19:22 on the same date 3/9/11. Someone removed the first ticket from my car which is why the second ticket was issued to me. I paid the 2nd ticket as this was the ticket that I found attached to my window. I only found out about the 1st ticket because I got a letter through the post to say, I now have a late fee added as I didnt pay within the 28 days and they now wanted £100 from me. I have wrote to them explainning this however once again they have wrote back saying that this isnt their fault and that I need to pay £100 by the 9th December otherwise it goes to a credit agency. That will be £160 they have had off me if I pay this fine. My car didnt move from the spot for 24 hours and as far as I was aware you can't be done for the same offence twice if the vehicle hasnt moved in the space of 24 hours, is this true? and what do you suggest I do about the payment of £100 as this isn't my fault and as far as im concerned I have paid them already for my mistake. Please HELP !!!!!!!! Jemma
