  1. Sent off a few CCA's this week, but just wondering how the 12+2 days will/shoiuld work?
  2. I'm waiting for the claim form to come as my printer isn't working. Otherwise I'd print it off online. I know you can fill it in online too, but there isn't enough room for all the stuff I need to write lol.
  3. I have no reason to lie either, as I have letters from the DWP stating what benefits I went onto, when and the reason. Myself and my OH are also in reciept of FULL HB and CTB, so I'd like to ask Snottydent why would I be in reciept of these if I was working full time, like they suggest. I'm just waiting for the paperwork to come from the FOS.
  4. Won't go into too much detail yet incase one of the many people from Provi are lurking on here. Anyway, Took out a loan just after Christmas 2010 with them for just under £700. Been a previous customer, hence the amount. as the agent knew me, she brought the Credit Agreement to the house and I signed it in my kitchen. All it had on it was my name, address and nothing else - no work details etc. She said she'd fill these bits in when she got home as she knew me. So she passed me the money and off she went. Made payments each week on time. Then after a few months the situation changed and it was agreed that I would pay a lower amount. This went on for a while and the payment got lowered again. Then the agent stopped calling. No reply to texts or phone calls. So I tried the manager. Again no replies to texts or phone calls. Manager came up with 101 excuses as to why she hadn't been in touch. Due to the lack of comminucations from the agent/manager my account got passed to CK Headache who try to scare you into paying. I complained to Provi asking how do they expect someone to pay when the agent doesn't bother collecting. And the fact my account has been passed next door is a joke. My complaint with Provi to this day remains unsolved, so they have invited me to take the matter to the FOS. So thats where I'm upto Any advise from folk on here? PS, I asked for a copy of the agreement and the agent had me down on the as working when I took the £700 loan out at the end of 2010 when infact I hadn't been working since the middle of 2010 due to ill health...! (which the agent knew about) Think back to the bit at the start when the agent said they'd fill the other bits in at home...
  5. Had a letter from BCW saying they "may consider" a door step visit for an unpaid bill from soime time ago... So I sent them something along the lines of: Thankyou for your letter dated ************. The contents have been noted. I’d like to point out that should it be your intention to arrange a “personal visit”, please be advised that under OFT rules, you can only visit me at my home if you make an appointment and I have no wish to make such an appointment with you. The only people who may come to my front door without invite is the Postman and/or persons lost and looking for directions. There is an implied license under English Common Law for people to be able to visit me on my property without express permission; the postman and people asking for directions etc (Armstrong v Sheppard & Short Ltd [1959] 2 QB 384. per Lord Evershed M.R.). Therefore take note that I revoke license under Common Law for you, or your representatives to visit me at my property and, if you do so, you will be liable to damages for a tort of trespass and action will be taken, including but not limited to, police attendance. I trust I have made myself clear on the matter. Last week I recieved a letter saying they have placed a "cease all action" on my account, yay!
  6. Our agent stopped calling after resetting up our agreement and now the tossers at CK Headache think they are scaring me...
  7. Well a default notice was issued, but not arsed to be honest They can get in the queue... but a formal complaint has been lodged anyway.
  8. Situation: Loan that was payable at the rate of £21 per week. Was ok for a while. Then situation changed, so asked if payments could be reduced. So was paying £10 per week. Then the agent went on holiday and didn't bother letting me know. This was in August. So I contacted the area manager who is useless and couldn't organise a **** up in a brewery. Anyway, still had no agent visits, nor has the area manager been around after making an appointment to see me about my account. I have now been passed to their inhouse retards, aka CK Headache. Anyway, they are now sending out their "scary" letters. Not arsed about these letters to be honest, but I'd like to question the fact that I've not had an agent collection since August. I want my book updating with "no agent collection" but they are refusing.
  9. If the car has been written off, then he'd need to buy a replacement car wink wink...
  10. Trouble is getting into our CAB. Have to turn up at 7.30am and queue up. It seems silly strugglin to pay off the debts for the next 60 years when i could do a DRO which Will be off my credit file in 6 years.
  11. Moneies owed as of 21st November 2011: Provident: £745. They get £1.00 per month. 745 months to repay! T Mobile £121. They get £5.00 per month. 24 months ro repay. Next £85. They get £5.00 per month. 17 months to repay Greenwoods £320. They get £5.00 per month. 64 months to repay. Vanquis £658. They get £5.00 per month. 131 months to repay! Capital one/CapQuest £300. They get £5.00 per month. 60 months to repay.
  12. I have several budgeting loans/crisis loans in my name. In the new year I'm thinking of doing a DRO as I'm struggling with my payment plans via CAB. Plus to pay them all off will take over 60 years lol. DRO seems the way to go tbh. Anyway, at the minute my OH is on Income Support and as such all the repayments for the Social Fund loans come from thier IS rather than from my Incapacity and DLA. If I do a DRO and include the Social Fund Loans, will my OH go back to getting the full rate of IS?
