  1. Why treat Amazon any different to any retail outlet. If I get bad service that's it, I shop elsewhere. I did read a campaign by a chap who is trying to "punish" Amazon for "not paying tax"? he is deliberately ordering and returning items. A private business can stop selling to whomever it wants as long as one of the "isms" is not involved. I feel bad sometimes using Amazon in the knowledge a high street shop is losing the trade from me but the fact is Amazon are very good and in these days of so-called austerity I will save on cost for goods.
  2. Yes, thanks for that. I printed out the pages, back stepping each page to show Ryanair it was NOT my mistake. They did not give a damn. This made matters worse because whether I was right or wrong they just did not give one scintilla of concern. It is illegal in my view, to have a website which despite what you click on it does what IT likes and then you get no recompense when you point it out. O'Leary will get his comeuppance people like him always do.
  3. Why would they care, they provide the most rotten customer support in history yet is the world's most successful airline. I wrote recorded delivery to O'Leary and told him where to stick his airline. I know its not good manners but I felt good. The man should be in a prison.
  4. This happened to me. I immediately phoned ryanair - they did not give a damn. I emailed - phoned , wrote, wrote to Oleary himself. They could not give a flying fuff. The most disgusting, rotten ****ster I have ever dealt with. I even threatened to bang on their door in Dublin and insist I see O'Leary - they said they would call the police.
  5. Thanks for replying. I know the principle it is worked with but my question is - How do you confirm they are not running a racket ? £68 is a lot and my impression of the county I live in now to the one I moved from is as chalk to cheese and I would bet my current address is lower risk. But how do I prove that ? if there is no standard rating I am being ripped off because they can make it up.
  6. When updating my address, moved from one postcode area to another (next county) got reply message saying > "That will be £68 additional fee" !!!! I phoned to ask them to stipulate why. They said - "slightly higher risk area" - I asked: by whose standards? I got the usual crap. Suffice to say, if i did not accept the £68 additional fee I would NOT be insured from putting the phone down. My question is >> How can they have me over a barrel like this with no back up independent statistics as to what is a high risk area. They could be simply making this up to get me to fork out £68. My full policy was only £187 before this additional fee. £12.50p was also included as admin fee when I did all the work myself, they did nothing. I think this is a [problem] and needs looking into for fair play to consumers. What is the best thing to do ?
  7. What is the law on right of implied access removed ? to TVL agents (NOT BAILIFFS) just the TVL Capita people who turn up at your door?
  8. Thanks for your response to my comments. I think you are probably right ref challenging them myself with exchange input on this thread. There must be a way of getting right to the jugular of Inter Credit - I have never in my life been so angry on the telephone. The person must have been a psychopath because there was no shift in attitude regardless of what angle I tried to explore. This is not good enough. I will be writing to the Minister For Transport and Trading Standards. I will take some time to analyse the comments in other posts then formulate my action plan. If you have any specific tips I will be glad to hear them. Thanks again for your reply- Nehpets. Stammatis
  9. Firstly I think you guys who have challenged the DVLA and then helped others on this site are deserving of a lot of respect. I am now in the same boat, been driving for 44 years and not one tiny little error to my name. Yet Inter Credit International have sent me a letter 3 YEARS from the date of the ALLEGED offence. Inter Credit International have a serious attitude problem. I phoned them to ask basic questions and they will not answer the questions, in every case the person on the phone was a hard nosed, obnoxious barrier to my trying o get answers and help which would benefit me as a person possibly facing a court case. Why dont we as a group form a focus group intent on scrutinising Inter Credit International and the DVLA procedures. I am happy to join that group if anyone is interested. We could even form a website specifically for this purpose. I am challenging the DVLA (ref SORN issue) my main contention is that NO ONE in DVLA or ICI help you on simple matters relevant to my case. If there is anyone out there who is willing to concentrate on said matters please let me know. I would appreciate any help I can get. I do have a legal mind, but I am not a qualified practitioner of the law.
