  1. HI everyone. Ok this is what is occuring now. My debt (which can not be proved) as the policy they sent me is not original. Has now been passed onto Wescot. I have told them that the account is now under dispute and not to harass me or contact me by phone and if any contact is needed then do it by letter. They are still contacting me twice a day. Some my say this is not harassment and others say it is, due to them ignoring my request I am now on with sending a letter of complaint as well as stating not to contact me by phone...Again:!: I have just went through all my statements from 2002 to 2006 with a fine tooth comb, and have totaled the amount they O me on late payment charges, and then made up another list of all the mis sold payment protection charges. (without interest) Most of the late payment charges are in the sum of 25 pounds. Approx total of 211 pounds (without interest) What I would like to know is. Do I ask for PPI as well as the charges together or are they needed to be done separately. Sending separate letters to the Halifax. And i am not scared to admit the whole process of calculating interest is very confusing to me Also I would love to hear any success sotories from people here hen it comes to the halifax:) Many thanks xxx
  2. Does anyone think its best for me to claim `mis sold payment protection` my self or should I get a company to do it ? Just found out that Apex has passed on my situation to another company. They been ringing seven eight times a day. Any guidance upon the whole situation would be appreciated.
  3. The above does not apply as they have not got me mixed up with my brother. I have looked at the cc agreement again and in the additional card holder signature box it has my signature in but crossed out and initialed by the banker. Basically this means I filled in the wrong box, the other box which has my signature in does look to be mine but the CC agreement is such a bad copy that its not very clear. It came this morning in the post and I did not need to sign anything so it was not sent with `proof of postage/recorded delivery/ I have all my statements going to look at them with a fine tooth comb and look at all the charges they have put on, also perhaps go to citizens advice because of A) Mis-sold payment protection B) Charges including Hidden charge. c) contact apex (by letter) and ask for original proof of my account. I can not remember the name of the people that were handling this before Apex came on line. I would love to find that letter that clearly shown/stated i owed X amount rather than the amount that Apex say I O. (£300/£400) more. My thanks Rainbow
  4. Hi there I took out a credit card in the year 2000. The problems started when I lost my job. However I had credit card repayments cover, I made a claim as soon as I lost my job, filling in a huge application form to state why and how I lost my job:| Any way to cut a long story short they refused and this was the start of the problems. I have been paying a small amount to the Halifax via DCA`s (still Halifax)each month. I kept in clear communication with the Halifax about how much I was able to pay each month. Now this is where the fun and games begins. I did not O a lot of money at all but was shocked when I received a letter though the door saying APEX rather than the other company I was dealing with. I noticed there has been a huge charge put onto the money I apparently owed, which I still at this present time can not find on any of the statements I asked to be sent to me (I have every statement since I took out the card I also misplaced the letter from the previous company to proof that I did not O the amount stated in this letter received by apex. I do not know where this charge came from and no one is admitting to it. Moving on Apex started harassing me ringing me at least 16-22 times a day demanding money and claiming I had gone into default which I had not. By this time I was becoming very much stressed and upset because of the above situation. I sent an official letter to the Halifax and Apex stating for the harassment to stop, which it did not until I enforced the situation on one particular call (few years ago now) Then they started sending letters saying I had gone into default which I had not and so when I rang they could not give me any details and did not know their left hand from their right or why I had gone into default. Now I admit I have defaulted a few times due to lack of funding (unemployed) and I explained to them why, perhaps I should not of done this but this is down to me being a genuine person. I sent a letter to Apex/Halifax (recorded deliver) asking for my credit card agreement and proof of money owed, nothing came and unfortunately I have misplaced the receipt so could not proof that I had sent this letter or that it had been signed for. This was approx three years ago. Now with all the hassle and upset I have sent yet another letter out for proof of my credit card agreement this time I have a copy of the letter (witnessed by partner)along with reciept of delivery/postage and some one has signed for it from the Halifax end. This letter stated that proof needed to be provided within two weeks. (letter layout taken from this forum) Two weeks past and on the day I got some kind of something (a reconstructed agreement not signed) It looks to be the back of an agreement, no signs of my name, signature date just some random printed out things With this also came a letter saying that they did not need to proof anything and there was no law stating that they needed to show evidence of a fully authentic signed Agreement.signed by my self At the bottom of the letter they also said that things were being looked into and something would be given. Six weeks later (approx) Initial letter sent of 4/10/11 I have received some kind of Agreement has a signature on it date etc. The signature on it is not mine. My own signature looks like a train reck, and this one is very neat. I have looked at several of my signatures and its nothing like either of the signatures on this agreement Looks more like my brothers sir name as he is in dept with the Halifax also, but owes them a lot more money by a considerable amount. Both signatures (supposed to be mine) are different to one another. One signature (main one) has two lines running all the way through it! I dont sign my name with two lines through it:mad2: I am at a loss now in what to do and what action to take. I can proof this letter to any official on here and the letter sent six weeks ago of me asking for a legitimate/genuine credit card agreement. any help and guidance as what i need to do will be appreciated. Rainbow~
