I received an acceptance form from Halifax asking me to sign the form to accept the outcome of the complaint however no amount was confirmed as to how much I would receive in a refund. My loan account is currently up to date however when I signed the acceptance form late August 2011, to date I have still not heard anything from Halifax. I keep calling them to chase the progress of my complaint but all I get is ' they have a backlog' and can take up to 10 weeks for the acceptance form to be sorted etc. From end of August until now, surely it doesn't take this long to sorted it out. I though they hired additional staff with the overwhelming PPI complaint banks are getting. Im getting married soon and the PPI will help but rather have the money now not xmas 2012!! Any advice would be very much appreciated because I am started to get fed up of waiting. Is it a question of waiting or should I send a letter to them in writing chasing my complaint up (sending recorded delivery). I don't know what to do now. Cheers Darren
