A company pays whenever the payroll cough up!...What your saying is about working a month in hand!... it is hard but if thats the way they pay then thats it I work for a company where the month is 1-31st and pay day on the 5th working day of the following!..... Although as a suggestion could you not ask the company for a loan ( apologies for the suggestion if its been covered i haven't read the post fully!)
  3. What does a red circle, blue infill and a red cross through it mean?.... When i passed my driving test it meant NO STOPPING ON AN URBAN CLEARWAY! You said yourself you stopped therefore you got a ticket!
  4. It clearly states "no stopping!" On the 07/08 - regardless of wether you load, unload, park or pull up with your hazards on - you will get a ticket - it is right you have stopped on a clearway looking at the circle signs.... Contest it i always say its worth a fight though You never know you might win-

  6. I don't believe you can be charged with "trespass" If Tescos ask you to leave and you refuse or they tell you your not welcome and your on the premises that is trespass Basically they then have the right to remove you (physically!) You cant be arrested for it
  7. I'm guessing that from your post you are new to the world of event security after reading this i'm a little bemused and struggling to work out how this SM is a racist!.... Reading the post it sounds to me like you may have a misguided expectation to the job. I've worked in event security to manager level for many years i've seen it and heard it all!... Including what you are saying, to be honest from what you are saying was alledged to have been said i have said to many many people. "don't like it? Then go home!" It is the quick and easiest way of saying "i dont have time for a member of my team who wants to complain!" Speaking from experience being a SM you have flack from 3 sides organisers, security management and the public 3 times that of the security staff but it don't make me a rascist in any form. i personally don't believe the SM refused to give you his name however i wasn't there i don't know but i would imagine that a company the size of Showsec have a complaints/ grievence proceedure to follow and that would be the route to take so the lady giving you her email is the correct way by the sounds of it. If you worked in my club with me a conversation i would be having with you would be something along the lines of if you think being told To go home is harsh then wait til Joe public gets hold of you its no holds barred and they certainly won't give a monkeys about your feelings when they insult, spit, throw drinks or try to assault you. Theres no airs and graces if you don't like it then this isnt the job for you. I make no apologies for this post i'm speaking from experience i certainly ain't defending the manager and i've never worked for Showsec but i will say this if your a newbie to event security Its the business i'm afraid welcome to the harsh world of event security it won't get any easier.   8. Not being any form of expert! But it looks to me like the the magnetic sticker has been sitting in direct sunlight and the heat has damaged the laquer T-cut won't fix it i had an old Merc with damaged laquer nothing you can do IMHO its either a respray or get another door jobby!

  10. Thats a load of baloney!... They do accept bank transfers and it takes about 3 working days to hit your account its how i pay mine they did have an account number on the website it was loadsa 0's & 1's and my bank wouldn't accept it so i called them and the gave me a proper account number don't take the crap the so called CSA's spew out this is one company that should move the customer service dept to Bangalore it would improve customer services 10 fold i think
  11. Just a brief update from VM... Thier attitude is after the please stay is there anything we can do begging phone calls is..... we've closed your account and called off the dogs and thats that!.. As for the pain, misery, upset and poor service we provided well thats tough really!.... The email we sent to Neil Berkett, Rossendales, OFT and Herts trading standards has now been logged as a complaint by HTS and they are interested in its progress. A quick question... Is it time to request full details of the account under the DPA with view of sending a letter before action? We will now be seeking full repayment for the poor service and the distress it caused closing the account. Originally.... We asked for a goodwill gesture because we recieved poor service and the drama getting the account closed that would have brought the matter to a close we was basically told to do one!
  12. My 1st gen xbox360 has the red ring of doom... I tried to fix it as shown on the internet but it didn't work not much point asking Microsoft as it has been back to them in 2008 for the same problem (which they fixed!) If anyone near watford can fix it for me i would be very greatful Before anyone suggests buying a new 250gb machine i already have one i want my old one for my bedroom
  13. i always pay by standing order when the bill comes in... don't waste ya time with the website or being charged extortionate rates calling these legal loan "£$@'s!
