  3. Hi, thanks for getting back to me, it was the Vampiress spreadsheet I was after. My story is that Santander closed my account in August 2015, the amount owing was all charges, Cabot apprently bought the debt and have just caught up with me and have passed it to a collections agency, GLOBAL to collect. It's not on credit file, like I said previously not been on here in years, credit rating poor to middling but no problems other than this week.
  4. Hi, it's been a really long time since I was here, though I do tell people about this site. Anyway, my problem is mainly a request. I can't get my head around the charges spreadsheet, so I was wondering if anyone still had the 2011 spreadsheet available? I know how to use that one, I would be really grateful if Bankfodder or any of the original moderators had this somewhere in their archives. Many thanks in advance, Saxon

  10. Hello, sorry to intrude but I have a site prob. I try to go into usercp and am being told to download a file, tried that eventually but it wouldn't open. Have signed out and back in again, no joy. It's been like this a couple of days, any ideas anyone? thank you in advance
  11. Hello, I would keep that message safe, turn the tape over until you can get a new one, DO NOT ERASE IT. Someone with more knowledge will be along soon to advise next course of action, good luck.
  12. if only that were true, I'm very cynical, sorry I had seller protection, sent item recorded delivery, to verified address, item was signed for, feddback was left by both parties and then 'the nice' person did a chargeback, paypal gave the runaround for months, until I lost my temper phoned them and told them to take me to court for balance outstanding as the chargeback meant I had gone into the red and I was determined I wasn't going to pay them for their negligence. IF you ever get chargeback follow the email channels first, then go by phone and speak to a manager not the floor staff, no offence meant but you still get a runaround from them. If no joy tell them to take you to court or you'll take them if your account hasn't gone into the red. Paypal really should sort themselves out, they make their money from sellers fees etc.
  13. Hello, for me it was 13 days, and he left positive feedback, took a long time to get the money back, but did eventually. the man concerned lives in a holiday destination that I've not been to before, though I should try to be more adventurous

  15. Hello, I have a letter from Monument which matches the original from Providian, I also have Cabots version of a Monument letter whicn has a totally different amount owed!
  16. Hello, Cabot for failing to provide a copy of CCA. for never sending out a statement of account as to how much has been paid, charges and/or interest added, (which should happen at least once every 12 months.) for passing info willy nilly. Moorcroft for not supplying CCA till after they defaulted. for having bully boy door knockers/collectors. for threatening court over the phone. and finally not letting me know whether they own the debt or just agents. Lowell. non compliance of CCA, still defaulted and processing data account is still being disputed with Cap One. think that's all/enough for now
  17. my history is still carp, would you, like me to try and get an agreement for you?
  18. I worked there in 1999/2000, the forms were triplicate, I remember the pink top sheet was double sided, which went to the customer, but I had to put on the form how much credit limit was and their account / reference number, if the phone call said no the aggreement was written as cancelled staight across diagnally so there could be no mistake and again the customer got a copy, but that was one store. I wasn't able to get an account, my history not good enough, so can't refer to a copy, sorry, and my memory isn't what it should be.
  19. Hello, I would send the CCA request then after 12 working days you can oficially stop paying them, till then pay your normal payment. If they come back to you with the agreements then send in your incomings and outgoings sheet.
  20. Hello, i think this is a good letter, however in paragraph 5, you say you will no longer be making no payments, unfortunitly that's adouble negative and is saying you will make payments, I know what you mean but they may just trip you up on it. Otherwise I like it, someone far more knowledgable will no doubt come along and give it a look over as well. Good luck.
  21. Hello, it was a House of Frazer store card, as an employee, I assume (probably wrongly) that I would have had the authority to do so. However a telephone call had to verify whether or not credit could be given. An account number would then be given to me to put onto the form. I would then issue a temporary card, so the customer could use it there and then, in any part of the store.
  22. Hello, a long time ago I used to work in House of Frazer, I used to get people to sign for these store cards, after filling in the details I would then telephone GE whoever, and they would say yes or no to the credit. My point is do shops not do that now? If it was declined, I had to write cancelled accross the whole sheet and hand 1 copy to customer. But the forms had all the information on from what I can remember, I have to add, I didn't know then what I know now.
