  1. Hello york lass 2009, I have got out of the fry ing pan into the fire. I had two years of dodgy "discover leisure" to get things sorted on a Chausson motorhome. Eventually, all was done ready for time to change. I got the Chausson rep on my side and he made things happen. In my experience, all dealers have proved difficult in one way or the other. They must have gone to the same school, you know, the ones taught how to try very hard to do very little. My apologies to some of those rare gems in the industry who have been helpful and gone out of their way to help and solve inevitable problems which arise from time to time. Anyway, I decided to deal with a so called family concern instead of the mega companies even though the deal was not so good. Big mistake, this lot have proved to have developed prevarication and lying into an art form. They must spend ages in sessions to show staff how to screw customers. I will not reveal who they are because things are at a delicate stage and they have the opportunity to realise the error of their ways or have a day in Court. Help is out there. People in trouble need to search and they will find someone who can make the difference between folding and getting a just result. Comforting to know of other people who are or have been in the same boat. best wishes, andrew
  2. I notice you have finance. Perhaps you should investigate if you are covered under section 75 consumer credit act 1974. If you are, then Black Horse is in the frame. Look up Moneysavings expert site and others. You may reach the point when it is necessary to give notice of rescission. Good luck!
  3. Hello I'm Andrew. New to the site after coming across it while searching for information. Motorhome consumer issue. Eve of court action after months of trying to get problems fixed on a new motorhome. Dealer and converter unresponsive or failing to offer solutions. Notice given within six months to rescind contract. Want money back and damages but willing to accept the former if court can be avoided. Any advice or experience stories?
