Yeaterday I witnessed a C.e.o affix a ticket to a french plated car , 30 yards away was a tow grabber council truck waiting , I thought the car belonged to someone in the flats opposite so i went to see if I could find someone to give them the heads -up that their car was about to be towed . no one was obvious about so I came out of the drive to hear the tow driver say/shout to the c.e.o '.look at this idiot trying to warn someone ;' This did not please me his attitude stank so I told him about his mother and resemblance to levi bellfield and went on my way . Today I saw the car again , a pleasant french person in it , I told him what i saw and asked him if he had any outstanding tickets etc , or reason that they would tow away his car , cost him £250 . He explained that he had arrived in u.k the previous day , his girlfriend had actually been up the council getting a residents permit , when the car was towed . I told him about cag , and said I would pose the question whether the council can ticket and tow away from a residents bay , no obstruction no danger , where one would usually only get a £40 ticket for , as stated he has no history of unpaid fine s , or road tax , He wants to appeal , it made me ashamed to be british , the spitetful relish and downright cheek of the towman .

So now we are being profiled I thought that wasn't allowed , It would seem the Councils want it both ways , Decriminalised parking ,with a lessened burden of proof ,as a revenue raiser to supplement their central funding and yet the criminal sanctions of arrest and ,well I've lived abroad , lets face it Its a third world shakedown . Was there not a very exhaustive thread on this same issue regarding JBW and Westminster and the roadblocks shown on The Bailliffs on BBC , I am no lawyer but it would seem to be a complete liberty for the Police to use their powers to aid and encourage private debt collectors , surely a civil suit was discussed or even a criminal one for some sort of false imprisonment /extortion or somesuch , this was discussed on the old thread . Anyway the figure of £689 sounds very beefed up , without proof of letters , removal vans or visits or the other favorite sundries that could not apply in this specific instance as they could not have known you would come driving by .

I have a parallel court case against the same people , the information requested is supplementary to the losses I am already claiming for , i.e it is a list of monies I have paid to them wrongly , that i need to supplement my claim .

The information I am requesting is relevant to another court action I am taking , i.e I am requesting payment data that i will then claim for , they are aware of the other action . The problem is my damages are dependant in me winning the other action , although there is a fair chance of success in it as they have settled out of court on the same grounds before .

An institution has yet to provide me with full data , after 6 months , despite acknowledging receipt etc , how do I quantify damage and distress ?

I recently did a credit search with experian , I am in dispute with two Barclaycard credit card accounts , that I know from previous searches were on this report . Barclaycard cannot provide enforcable agreements and I have told them to take me to court , if they so choose , since my dispute B/card have disappeared from my report , no mention whatsoever , as if they never existed . Is this normal , I am crosschecking with the other agencies , not sure if this is good news , but i live in hope .

That sounds like them being tricky , in order for them to provide as they are legally bound your info , they insist on more info from you . It is all a fishing expedition , surely your identity is your person , not your phone , email and address details .

Are you obliged to tell the credit agencies anything , let me stress I do not want credit of any sort > However I need to know what they have on me , frankly I think the whole concept is a liberty , when I was born such private companies did not exist , and they are just that private for profit companies . What they trade upon is information about us , I do not want them to know about me anymore. I am the O/p , I am appealing on a lines and signs matter anyway , as I am confident the council are wrong on this one , because the ticket was obviously issued on a wing and a prayer in a place c.e.os usually allow you to park as the lines are totally worn away and they know it . The reason that I asked the question originally was because , if c.e.os were getting pressure to meet targets , unofficial or otherwise , that would explain perhaps , the c.e.os illogical rationale with this one . Therefore it is directly relevant , if the poor fella felt his job was at risk if he did not meet his quota, I upped his numbers.

I am currently appealing what I consider to be an unscrupulous p.c.n from R.B.K.c . However I noticed in the media how R.b.kC have ben slammed for their contractor putting ticketing targets on their operatives , civil enforcement or whatever they call themselves these days , effectively several whatever the fs have been reprimanded for not giving out enough tickets . This I understand is contrary to statute and may have affected me as if the c.e.os felt pressure to give out tickets that could explain my dodgy p.c.n . Can I ask the council whether one of the c.e.os reprimanded was one who ticketed me ? Can I call as a witness the contractor responsible for this erroneous policy to explain themselves ? Can I bring up the matter itself with the adjudicator , as it has been reported in the press and raised in the Council ?

Is that legal , I do not remember entering into any form of contract allowing my council to divulge my details , what about the data protection act . What if i do not want any of my details shared , do I have the option of privacy or declining to be on the electoral roll . For official nesercary business I might not have a problem , but as a money making scheme , wheres my share its my info and my business .

£ 425 million a year , not taking into account council parking excess would be less than £50/year per household . Losses to the ecomomy are much more than that , maybe central Govt should cover any shortfall .
