I have access to 12 months statements on line... no paper trail any more

Hi, I was made redundant in June 2010, made a claim on PPI with Axa insurance for outstanding balance on Capital One card. They paid 12 months payments based on 10% of original balance but at the end of 12 months because of a high interest charges made by Capital one there is still an amount of nearly £200 outstanding which Axa say they are not liable for. I feel that Cap One mis sold this insurance as they never mentioned it may not cover the full amount. Anyone any experience of this, Axa say its never happened before but wont pay anymore?
