  1. Hi, I have asked for my experian report, just the £2 option, and it is coming in a few days. Then I will be able to check whether it is one default or many. Either way, I have had no paperwork about the default - surely they have to write and let you know if they are going to put a default on your record? So, the situation is that the company are allowed to report on the account even though there is no CCA? Any more thoughts would be very much welcomed. Best wishes, Ruth
  2. I am not sure actually. Clearly I need to look further into this. Thanks for replying though, Ruth
  3. Thanks for replying, it was over three years ago. Ruth
  4. Hi, Not being sure of where to put this query, I am adding it here. It's fairly long. Three years ago I asked Littlewoods for a CCA because I owed them about £400 and they had upset me. On discovering that they didn't have a CCA for me, I decided not to pay them. Recently I saw a credit card that was being given out to everyone and his wife, and so I thought I would apply for it. I did - and got declined. This made me worried so I went and had a look at my credit record, and was shocked to see that every month since I had written to them about my CCA, Littlewoods has put a big default notice on my credit record. That means over 36 defaults. Now there are two issues as far as I see. 1. They have to write to me if they want to issue a default notice. They never have done. 2. They have no CCA agreement, therefore they are not allowed to issue default notice. So what do you think I should do? Where do I stand legally? Will I ever be able to get rid of the defaults? They are coming every month reliably so they are growing.....I have never even heard of anyone who has around 40 default notices? Any advice would be appreciated. Best wishes, Ruth
