  1. I offered them about £34 a month over 15 months and said I'd review after 3 months, so didn't think my offer was that poor to be fair.
  2. Got this reply from Wonga, not sure what to do... Hi there, We really do appreciate your current difficulties, and the offer you have made, however, we were looking for something a little higher. The size and number of payments you have suggested doesn't really work to help get you out of debt in a reasonable timeframe. Please either, call our friendly collections team on 0844 842 9110, who will be happy to discuss a more suitable arrangement or email back with a higher suggestion for a monthly repayment. The team are here between 9am -6pm Monday- Friday so please pick up the phone because we really are here to help. Alternatively you can reply to this email with your revised offer and we will get in touch ASAP. Kind regards, Kind Regards,
  3. Apologies, it appears that it won't leave the gaps in when I post a message now for some reason.
  4. I have emailed them. Here is an example of what I sent to one of them, so any advice is much appreciated. Dear Sir/Madam I am currently due to repay you £300.00 on 27/10/11 however I am not going to be able to make that payment as I have lost my job this week due to the economic downturn. I have every intention of clearing the debt, however I'd like to possibly come up with some kind of repayment program with you as that's the only way I'm going to be able to pay you and my other creditors without having to go down the IVA route. I can afford around £30 a month at the moment, so I'd be looking to arrange a program of £30 a month over 10 months, but we can look to review it in 3-6 months if my work situation changes. Could I please request that all correspondance is kept to email at this email address. Kind Regards One more thing, for the WDA email you listed, is it .co.uk at the end?
  5. Thank you very much, that would be much appreciated
  6. OK, basically in a mess with payday loans. I get paid just over a grand a month after tax and my rent and total bills are £700 (excluding payday loans) I currently owe- Payday Express £300 Quick Quid £812.50 Wage Day Advance £323.75 Wonga £514.37 Mr Lender £375 I've not defaulted on any of these loans yet, however I have defaulted with Quick Quid and Wonga in the past...arranged a repayment program, paid them off, but stupidly got into another loan with them. Ideally I want to pay them all £50 a month (so total £250), with interest frozen, until they are all back to £0. Can I arrange a repayment program if I haven't defaulted yet? I don't want to default because they will send letters to my parents house (I don't live there any more but am still listed at that address) as basically my parents will disown me after what happened last time (getting into this kind of debt) so it's crucial they don't find out. I could tell the companies my new address, but my bank etc isn't listed to it and not sure if it would look dodgy, especially as I'm trying to organise a repayment program. Just a mess really.
