  2. thank you all for your response, to andy 77799, they are called pps or premier parking solutions, website is pps.uk.com. looks like ignoring them is the best option then. thank you all again
  3. Hello, on friday i received a parking fine for not having a valid ticket displayed. It was at the p and o ferry terminal at hull. However i had used my debit card and paid £18 for three days parking but the first thing the pay and display machine printed out was a card receipt showing the date i paid and the amount paid. Assuming this was my pay and display ticket i put this on my dashboard. I must have left the actual ticket in the machine. Obviously i have kept this receipt as proof, as well as it appearing on my bank statement that i had paid the £18. I was about to lodge an appeal when i stumbled across this forum, in particular the advice about simply ignoring the company (PPS). I was just wondering what you advise i do as i feel i have a strong appeal? Many thanks, ralston242
