  1. Thanks for that, I just think at least if the outstanding balance was passed on then I could make any offer and it would be accepted. I've been arguing with QuickQuid since the end of February beginning of March, I'm fed up of trying to play ball with ignorant scripted individuals who god forbid deviate from what's in front of them.
  2. Meganimoo, how long did you wait for the outstanding to be passed over to a dca. Rather be paying them than being bullied into extortionate repayment plans:-)
  3. So final push to negotiate, basically being told to default AGAIN! Following a rather lengthy email from me I received this in return... Dear ***************** Thank you for contacting QuickQuid. We have received your email and have notated your account. However until your payment is actually returned, we are unable to set up an acceptable agreed payment arrangement. Once your payment is returned, you may contact us and set up another acceptable agreed payment arrangement. If you have any queries, our Collections Department is here to help. Falling on deaf ears again I feel... I just don't want another blatant letter turning up causing more embarrassment. I can deal with these jokers but don't feel that my business should be so obvious to others Any idea???
  4. Okay will do, think I've just got to pull myself together and get ready for the onslaught of fun and games from whichever delightful dca qq chooses. I've played ball long enough, only so long I'm gonna wave money at them. Thanks for your help
  5. I've collated everything that's gone between myself and them, and am in the process of filling out an oft investigation form thing. I'm getting letters and emails left right and centre threatening this action that action. I guess it's just bogging me down I know deep down they're idol threats and no one is going to turn up- they have no right to as it stands. My biggest worry is waiting for them to pass it on, I've already had an extremely obvious letter through which my house mates have seen, I'm fairly sure that counts as harassment by embarrassing you in front of others.
  6. Hi everyone, back again but with a quick query.... Long story short, I took a loan out from QuickQuid god knows how long ago, got caught in the payday loan spiral when I was paying out more in loans every month. My circumstances have changed and as soon as this happened I made the lenders aware. All of which agreed to payments which I could afford reasonably apart from QuickQuid. Near on 70 emails later and I'm still being bullied into agreeing to repayments I can't afford. Admittedly in a moment of weakness I agreed, I was afraid of what might come if I didn't, so really I've made a real mess of this. My health is suffering from the worry, I panic when the door or phone goes, I really feel that my only choice is to be passed on to a dca. I've already incurred a default and it's inevitable I'm going to get another... Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated. I am at my wits end

  8. I've sent it off and no reply as yet. It's debit day tomorrow so I think I'll wait. For the contact to happen I'm guessing they'll be fairly responsive when the money doesn't come out
  9. Is anyone else dealing with 247moneybox at the moment? I am literally pulling my hair out over them and could do with a shove in the right direction. I'm getting nowhere with emails or live chat and I wouldn't dream of agreeing anything over the phone with them. I'm determined I'm going to make them my offered payments but have no idea how to go about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  10. Yep but that's taken almost 30 emails to get to that point and making them aware that all issues experienced and any emails received would be forwarded to the OFT and also the financial ombudsmen service. I'm still not getting anywhere though... Keeping some faith though as collection day is Thursday
  11. So new account set up with a different bank today...good news there BUT.... Lloyds were not all that helpful, I took the letter advising cancellation of continuous payment auth which they didn't even want. I feel as though head office or something to that effect may be more helpful with a bit of background info. I've also advised that all contact now should be via written format and any landlines should be removed, eg work number, I can't be doing with them at work. I will be using the paying in slip for QuickQuid as they've said that's all they do, that or direct debit....I did receive quite an interesting email reply today from someone in the resolutions department called Robert... QuickQuid cannot comment on your income and expenditure, as we have never seen the documentation. Furthermore, we can not comment as as to your other arrangements because we can not verify what they are receiving. If you are in agreement with you other creditors, that is fine, but unrelated to our contract. Please do not feel "railroaded" into debt management. Our mention of it was not a demand, but to advise you that help is available. Part of being a responsible lender is letting our clients know that debt management exists. While you are correct that some services charge a fee for services, other services are charitable and do not. Again, our comments regarding debt management are a disclosure not a demand. QuickQuid is not set up to accept standing order payments from our customers. As per any contract you have had with QuickQuid, our established and offered repayment methods are DDI or Debit Card. At present neither of these methods are activated. We have sent a slip with our cheque instructions, if you are interested. After default, your account may eventually pass to a 3rd party agency. As your loan is not even contractually due as of yet, we are in no way sure to whom it would be passed too and at what point. Your telephone numbers have been removed at your request. Your account has been placed in a status hold to minimize (but not entirely eliminate) automatic e-mails and texts related to any future default. While we respect that in your opinion, a self directed repayment scheme that is interest free and open ended at 50,00 a month (potentially a 20 to 21 month interest free repayment plan) is reasonaable offer, please respect that from our vantage point we respectfully disagree that such a plan is a reasonable conversion for a payday loan due 15/03/2012 for £1012.40. That being said any payment sent to us will be processed and credited to your balance, even if as of now that no formal arrangement is in place. Really any further advice would be lovely, I refuse to cave into these guys but am feeling a little more than frustrated by them... As for 247moneybox I have had NO further assistance or even a reply to my last email. They are beyond a joke and debit day is fast approaching...I'm thinking once I default I'm in a better position to negotiate but on principle I made the aware as soon as I knew my situation. I actually (naively ) thought it may be possible to negotiate a pre default plan silly girl....
  12. I've worked out what I can afford and that really is all I've kept it fair and all creditors have been offered the same. Some have just been more accommodating than others. I have mentioned the OFT and fos but will now escalate the complaint to them. It's almost impossible to find any working addresses for 247moneybox and they have the sense of humour to quote themselves as having excellent customer service. Haha. I will be making the payments regardless as a gesture of goodwill,I've noticed that someone has posted 247moneybox see bank details so will set up a standing order for them. My main worry is what to do with my existing bank account, cancel and start up elsewhere? Thanks for your advice, this site is a godsend!! (^_^)
  13. Thanks to the advice on this site I seem to be making some head way with 2 pdl companies, QuickQuid and 247moneybox. Although I seem to have come to a bit of a standstill at the minute. Brief background is.. My circumstances have changed income wise and I am no longer able to meet the contractual agreements. I owe QuickQuid 1012 and have rolled this over twice already but can't see myself any better off doing so again. I owe 247moneybox 115 not a large amount but they are not willing to budge on my offers of payment plans of £50 each per month. Wonga and txtloan have both agreed to this amount with little trouble. Both QuickQuid and 247moneybox. Are due on Thursday.I have requested that the money I do have coming in be paid into a different account of mine and I'm taking the continuous payment authority letter to my bank tomorrow but what's my next step. I am unsure what to do about my current account...cancel and open a basic one??? And does it have to be a new bank?? I feel as though I've really battled against them to get this far but am starting to feel a bit worn down. QuickQuid are saying they simply cannot accept payments this low and I sent them quite a wordy email quoting the OFT guidance and also some info from debt line. As I'm not in a debt management plan (and don't wish to be )I feel as though I am being penalised as I've heard of them accepting such payments from those on a dmp. I then received this reply Please send us your common financial worksheet detailing your incoming funds and outgoing expenditures. QuickQuid will consider if there is additional assistance we can afford you in this matter, upon a closer review of your situation. You mentioned you have spoken with Debt Line. You may wish to consider pursuing active debt management representation as an option for dealing with your debt. Your balance is presently £1012.40. By contract you are subject to a late fee of £12,00 if the balance is not paid in full. That is the only contractual charge that will be added to your balance. Your account may also be reported as a default. By way of a separate e-mail, a cheque instruction slip will be sent to you. Please use save this slip and print it for use as needed for any voluntary payments you elect to send to QuickQuid. Please attach the slip to the cheque you are posting to us. Please only send voluntary payments to the address on that slip. Use of any other QuickQuid address when sending payments in the Royal Mail may lead to significant processing delays. While we will not refuse posting of any payment you elect to send to us. We can not at present agree to a 20 to 21 month interest free repayment scheme on a payday loan. A £50,00 a month repayment scheme on a balance of £1012.40 is just that. If you have any queries, our Resolutions Department is here to help. Warm regards, RFE Robert Elston I have explained my situation quite in depth and don't feel as though I'm getting anywhere,it's just a reason for them to buy their time. What should I consider to be my next step?? As for 247moneybox I have had little assistance or interest in setting up a repayment plan. I spoke to them on live chat and have been emailing a supposed customer service representatives, both of which advised to basically let it default before they could do anything. I would be paid off in 2 months. If only they would agree. I don't want to give up now, the advice on here seems to have kept me going so far, it would be a shame to stop before I'm back on track. Sorry for the lengthy post I'm just feeling very stuck at the. Moment.
