  1. @sidwinder. Awesome!! Thank you for your detailed and prompt reply! It is very much appreciated. Is it worth raising this with ACAS too? Thanks again. You provide a very valuable service much more so than certain government funded agencies. I will endeavor to promote your services and encourage donations. Once this is settled I will certainly be making one, perhaps the difference between amount claimed and owed. We are not married but co-habitting hence my finances are not related
  2. Hi, My partner has been in long dialogue with her previous employer. To cut a long story short: Letter recvd stating employment start date and 20 hrs per week not paid for 2 months no payslip ever the same did exactly same hours each month between HR and Payroll did not process paperwork entered on a nil hours contract for 2 months therefore no holiday entitlement applied for 2 months raised issue numerous times, line manager incompetent and payroll will not speak to employees after leaving, 3 months later they raised overpayment summarised issues and asked for proof given inconsistencies and lack of response when queried questions not answered over 3 letters spanning 9 months they admitted their error still claim full amount we dispute amount based on no holiday accrual for period now ignoring letter and sending pre legal warning from debt collectors agree over payment but we dispute amount and admin charge We have spent a lot of time and it has caused a lot of stress yet they have the cheek to claim admin charge and still request full amount! The amount is incorrect (maybe not by much but incorrect nonetheless). We will pay the correct amount. The information they have provided was an incoherent mess. She has also recvd a tax rebate they state she was not entitled to. We have no idea what the tax and NI implications will be and they have still not commented on this. The amount claimed is roughly £600 Would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions as to what we should do now. Please help!
