Hi all need a quick spot of advice if you anyone could help! Trying to fight a default notice issued by Abbey back in 2008 andrecently got all the information they hold. A letter was issued on the 26th March 2008.Paragraph one of this letter states “This letter will serve to provide you withnotice of our intention to register default information with Credit ReferenceAgencies to which we subscribe, in respect of the above account number. Defaultinformation will be registered 28 Days from the date of this letter”. However on the 31st March (3 workingdays later) Santander issues a Default Notice. This letter was sent to me onthe 31st March 2008 however the Default Notice was recorded with theCRA on the 27th March 2008 the day after the 28 Day warning was sentand before I could reasonably expect to have received said warning. Does this seem right to anyone and is it groundsfor having it removed through maladministration?
