    informing DVLA

I had a stroke in december 2014 and wasn't told that i had to tell dvla, didnt even enter my mind to be honest as i was paralyzed down left side and had no thoughts of driving. After six months of rehabilitation I am now fit enough to drive again but my problem is.... do i need to still inform dvla even if as my doc says im now perfectly capable.
  4. I earn £140 per week and my partner is unemployed but gets £0.00 per week due to my wages......with me getting nothing in wages this week means we have no money whatsoever to live on. And silly me bought the coalitions "your better off working"...routine
  5. Hi. I was off work for nine days including weekends....I am contracted to work 5 days Mon-Fri. I handed in a self cert for the first 7 days and a doctors cert to cover the other two days but I was told that I am not due SSP or even a payslip....is this correct? I've worked 2 years 16+ hours a week
  6. This must be the dumbest question you guys have ever heard but here goes. I came off JSA and claimed ESA, I was told by ESA that I'm not entitled to any payment as my wife works and earns £150 pw. Am I still on ESA even though I dont get paid?
  7. I have just moved from JSA to ESA and have been told that i am due no money on ESA.as my wife works part time. My question is would it affect our LHA if i didn't claim ESA as the thought of going through the atos medical and the hassle of repeating sick lines for no benefit is rather daunting. I know that claiming ESA or JSA brings me credits but is it worth the humiliation of forms and atos? Its the LHA that is most worrying.
  8. Thank you both for your speedy and informative input.
  9. Hi all Please forgive me if this is an old question or in the wrong place. I am a diabetic of 17 years and have developed peripheral neuropathy which makes me incapable of doing much at all never mind my heavy former job. The trouble is that after claiming ESA I was deemed fit to work after ATOS medical hence the JSA question I recieve £15 weekly JSA, if i were to stop signing on would it affect my family my wife works 16 hours so we are entitled to housing benefit but the jobcentre said that if i lose my JSA i will also lose housing benefit. numan
