As soon as i got the Job, I informed them, and i got the payment about 2 weeks later, without been informed! so i dont know, maybe i didnt give enough notice?? i could just do without someone coming to my door about this! thanks again!

Thanks for the Advice, i assume the council offices will be closed now, so will try tomorrow or monday! The over payment was there fault, and i had spent it by the time they let me know and i wasnt aware! Thanks!

Hi, New to this forum, and cant seem to find any info on cases similar to mine. I was on benefits for about 3 months last year, and when i found a job stopped, but apparently the housing benefit made an overpayment of £200. I working in the pub trade and this is quite alot of money for me to pay back! Barnet council have now gave it to Rossendales collect, and i have been recieving about 5 calls a day for a few weeks from them, but have not answered at all, received a few letters from them with the final one saying NOTICE OF VISIT! I am now quite worried! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Jay
