Hi I am experiencing exactly the same bullying and threatening tacticts from both Ashbourne and ARC untill it is making me sick with worry.I dont have the money to pay them and feel that even if I did due to their dishonest tacticts I would'nt on principle. I now find there are thousands of us in the same position as a result of this [problem]. There is a High Court action on Ashbournes tactics awaiting guidance taken out by Trading Standards. Also as you are in dispute with Ashbourne, ARC should not be harrassing you.There are guidelines set down by Trading Standards to protect us.(OFT664 re dispute on debt collecting and trading and also the Enterprise Act that I'm trying to get my head round). I have decide to take copies of all correspondence from both companies and my own and send it to Trading Standards, The local press ,My MP as they used the Government initiative of Change 4 Life to promote membership at the Gym I joined,Watchdog as they have ongoing cases ,Minister for Sport,Dont get done get Dom BBC tv. I just feel that if everyone does the same these Companies will get the bad reputation that they deserve and eventually be dealt with through the courts. I know this is such a time consuming task but I urge everyone that is being bullied by these con artists to take the same stance as me, hopefully justice will eventually be done!
