do you know if Excel Parking Services are definitely a private parking company? has anyone ever been to this car park before? i have called up the media city security team and they do not own it, im trying to get through to the Salford City Council parking team but they are not answering.

Hi everyone, I know this has been done to death and I have had a look at the sticky at the top but just want to clear up my own personal situation. Went to a car park in Salford Quays on Wednesday, the pay and display said 0-13 hours cost £3.50. I paid that amount and displayed the ticket on the dash. Unfortunately what I didnt see was the fact that the Car Park shut at 7pm. I arrived at 4pm and when i got back to my vehicle it was about 11pm. There isnt any barriers at the car park and I thought that meant that after 7pm you dont have to pay. I had paid for 13 hours anyway so this is irrelevant. I know everyone says dont pay it but the fact that it says that the car park is closed after 7pm is worrying me alot. any help is greatly appreciated.
