Hello all, Let me say I have found the information on this site to be quiet informative and useful. I have recently joined this forum and wondered if any one could advice me on whether PPI could be possibly embedded in my monthly payments to Welcome finance. About two years ago we (my husband and I) took out a 15 year welcome secured loan for £14000 and have been trying to make the monthly payments which is currently £299.00 (extremely high). Since taking out the loan our financial circumstances has changed and we have been finding it very difficult to meet the monthly payments. We have tried to re-negotiate the payments but they are not willing to do this. We have question why the payments are so high for just a £14000 loan and have wondered whether PPI as been added without our knowledge or permission. Our calculation is that if we pay this loan for the full 15 year period Welcome finance stand to get £53,820 in total of which £39,820 of it is interest. How can we find out if welcome has added PPI ? Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advanced.
