  1. I am paying a speeding fine through Philips. I recieved a letter saying that I owed £135 and I arranged to pay it off £25 fortnightly. Ive since recieved other letters saying that the debt is £250, other letters saying ive refused to pay the debt (which i have not) and i will be arrested on sight. I contacted Philips and they said to disreguard the letters they were mistakes!? They also told me over the phone that the debt is only £90. I have been paying the correct amount on time but still keep getting threatning letters, and now theve started sending text messages demanding full payment. This is very confusing and stressful and I would like advice on how to stop it.
  2. I calculated my charges using the spreadsheet. The total comes to £1322. I sent my letter off asking for my money back, that was on 21.07.06. I got a reply from the bank on 25.07.07 saying they were sorry im unhappy with the charges but grateful I took the time to write and explain why. (Yeah right). They are looking into my concerns and will contact me again in the next 14 days either with a full response or to let me know what progress they have made. They are going to do their upmost to resolve my complaint quickly and to my complete satisfaction, but so I am aware of the options available to me they included a bull-crap leaflet that explains their complaint procedure.
  3. I sent my letter off to natwest asking for my statements from the last six years to be sent, including my cheque for £10. I used the template from this forum. That was 5 weeks ago. I phoned natwest to chase them up, and they told me they had ordered the statements in but did'nt know where to send them, (the letter had my address and account number in it). Natwest said they only hold the statements for 7 days, which conveniently ended the day I phoned., and that now the statements would be sent back. They will now have to consult with the manager to see what they can do.
  4. yes they did, two heavies turned up and said if I dont hand the keys over they would break into the car and I would have to pay for the damages.
  5. They are still charging interest, it wasnt agreed with the court it was thames.
  6. I bought a car through yes car credit. I got behind on the payments and my car was repossessd, they said I still had to pay £3000 which im paying through thames credit. I am paying £35 a month because im on benefits. I recently had to go to court over a debt and the judge told me I do not have to pay the debt because Im on benefits. Does anyone know if this is true? Im happy for any advice
