  1. I have been told that I will have to work from a different office twice a week, meaning an increase of work mileage of 120 miles a week. I just can't afford to pay this. Can I ask for the costs to be covered - I didn't ask for this change in work situation.
  2. Yup - according to the website suggested by DX I am definitely paying over the odds interest wise. What should i do?
  3. I have just received my annual loan statement from Sainsbury's - and am not happy. My stated loan interest rate is supposed to be 7.35% but, after having a look at the free loan payments calculators available online, it looks like I'm actually paying at the rate of 8.02%. This may not seem like very much more but, over the course of the loan, it will add up to around £700 - and better in my pocket than theirs! Does anyone know what I should do? Also, although I never thought I had PPI on this - and indeed refused it during the telephone application, the statement is somewhat confusing. On the "Original amount of credit" part of the statement it has three *** after the amount. The description applied to these *** later down the page states: "Inclusive of loan insurance where appropriate." What does this mean?? Thankyou!

  5. Did your friends take out the travelodge insurance? It is sneakily set as ticked for yes on website.

I want to ask Santander for my old bank statements - will I have to pay for them?I thought I could just make a SAR request, but I think I've read on here that they might charge me rather more than a tenner...Can anyone help? Please.
  7. Ha... Just found one old bank statement. The loan statement has the £34.75 listed as a separate payment. This would appear to be true... The bank statement shows I was paying a lump sum of £235.84 each month. (So £201.09 loan+ £34.75 ppi) Hmmm - has that helped at all?
  8. Loan was listed as £9,000 Interest was listed as £3065 Total payable listed was £12065 Also: PPI listed as £34.75 a month Total payable for 60 monthly installments of £201.09 from April 20 2000. I guess I could just guess from these figures - about £2k ppi on these figures plus interest.... What do you think?
  9. Really sorry, but I don't have a scanner and the photocopy sent to me is so faint that it doesn't really show up when I photograph it. Is there something specific I should be looking for?
  10. Yep. Both. Started April 2000 with monthly ppi payments of 30 quid for 60 months.
  11. I sent a SAR to Santander for an old loan with ppi, but only got the agreement sent back. No other details available apparently. Should ii just submit a guestimate claim? The loan was from 2000.
  12. Can anyone who has had experience of cahoot help?
  13. Perhaps emailing the CEO could be the way forward for my PPI claim? I've written once to London and three times to Bradford in the past eight weeks (enclosing letter, FOS questionaire and graphs - and sent by registered post) - but heard zilch. Now been told to wrote to Milton Keynes instead... Feel like tearing my hair out. I want to claim back my PPI and interest. I am fighting for what I believe I am owed - but Cahoot is certainly not making this battle easy.
  14. Can anyone give me a general idea of how long Cahoot/Santander take to discuss/settle/make a decision on a PPI claim? I put in a claim with Cahoot several weeks ago, sent by recorded delivery to a Bradford PO Box address, but have yet to hear anything from the company. A pal of mine made a successful claim to Santander/Abbey earlier in the year, receiving a pay out within two weeks. He got a phone call just one day after the claim arrived with the firm, and the money was in his account two weeks later .Has anyone else made a PPI claim with Cahoot? I would love to know what procedures they had to go through after sending off the claim. Thankyou.
