I am in a situation where i have booked 2 flight tickets with Hoodaki (Benz Travel) to Hong Kong for my christmas holidays( total 1200 pounds). Then because of the snow storm, and they cannot do anything about it, i have decided to cancel my flight ticket. I have emailed them within a couple of days to try and get a refund, but there was no response. I have sent more emails and have phoned them loads of times, then when they do reply they tell me that its too late for a full refund and that i can only get 60% of it back. I asked them about the emails i have sent them before but they claimed the server was down at the time and did not receive any emails from me about the refund. I had no choice but to accept to 60% but since then, its been more than 3 months and they still havent returned any of the money. i tried phoning them everyday, but they never pick up. i know they are not picking up on purpose because when my friends pretended that they wanted a ticket, the line was directed to an agent straight away. Is there anything i can do to get my money back?? I was thinking about sending them a letter and threaten that i will sue them etc....would that work?? Please can anyone give me advice because this is the first time ive been in this situation and its a lot of money...
