  1. So a little confused. Back in 2008 I brought a bedroom flat in England through a Shared Ownership scheme. The total cost was 180000. My share was 50% so 90000 mortgage Things moved on and I ended up moving to the US. I tried to sell, agreed a price but was blocked by The Woolwich/ Barclay's as i would have a shortfall So was unable to keep up the payments and today received notification that the property was sold for 99670.97 and I now owed a shortfall off 8088.54. So surely I should be owed money and not have a shortfall. Have I missed anything?
  2. So say Natwest sold my debt to a US company would that appear on my US credit/ affect my US credit ?
  3. Ok thank you very much for your help. I'm trying to make payments to reduce the loan (costs more to send from the US via paypal). My CC account was removed from my online banking so unable to make payments to that
  4. Hey all, So I am a uk citizen who left 3 years ago to move to the US. I have an account with Natwest which is 5k Overdrawn on current account (including a bunch of charges), a loan for under 4k and a CC for 5k I am trying to pay them off but the charges on the checking account just keep rising They sent a letter to my parent's house asking for an address. My dad would have refused but they said that they would black-mark his credit status if I did not comply Is this true. What are my options? Thank you
