  5. Having seen an example of a a letter to the Halifax, I'm left wondering why this commences with a request for copies of bank statements. Is this only necessary when these are not retained by the account holder? I have kept all my statements going back to the opening of my account (2 years) and, lately, all the online statements issued. So I assume that I wouldn't need to ask for copies. I am able to identify each of the charges extracted by the bank, so it would seem better to highlight these and the respective dates. Am I correct?
  6. I see many references to a DPA letter, which appears to be a standard letter to send to a bank on the issue of charges. Can anyone tell me where to get a copy?
  7. I don't see anyone dealing with the Halifax. It can't be that good, surely.
