Thanks in advance for any advice. I've read a lot about the base rules for returning a car under the consumer goods act. Short story is that that I've had several major faults (all identified in first 6 months) including a new gearbox and new injectors. The dealer is unable (not unwilling) to fix all of them. Car was 2 years old when purchased for 28k. They agree to take the car back. 8 months have now passed. I expect a refund at the current retail price. The dealer is offering me trade in value. We're 5k apart and we can't seem to bridge an agreement. Who is right?
