  1. All his stuff comes here as well as to wherever he lives. I owe him nothing..my rent is paid up until April 12th. It goes to a letting agent who then forward it on. they are not aware of the recent events to do with the property.
  2. The landlord will not respond to any contact...even from the lenders who can't get hold of him either. His recent bank statement appeared saying he'd paid £550 on feb 20th..then missed the next mortgage payment due 1st March of £354! Bit pointless even coughing up that £550 if u ask me!! He tends to pay say £600 here and there, prob 3 times a year, then nothing for months and months. His arrears at one point were allowed to rise to £6k! Now I think the lender has had enough and are cracking down on him, even though the arrears are now only £1200.
  3. Hi there was a suspended order for repossession made in may 2008. I have received an order from the court that the property must be given to the lender on 29th March.I have a;so had a letter from the lenders solicitor advising the same. I phoned this solicitor and they said the order will stay in place until the landlord pays £125k back to the lender by 29th, if not they will then possess the property. Next she said they apply for en eviction warrant, then eventually bailiffs. She said I'll be informed by letter of everything happening and that if it all still goes ahead, I'll prob still be in the property until May time.
  4. Surely the Landlord should've turned up in the first place to declare he can pay off the £1200 arrears? The judge made the order without him present. How long then will I have in the property should the landlord re-apply in order for the judge to stay the eviction? In 2 weeks the lender should be taking the property back!
  5. I've lived in a privately rented property since 2006 but my landlord pays the mortgage sporadically. No payments made since Nov '11. He made a payment end of Feb '12,but the arrears are still around £1200. He was summoned to court 1st March..but failed to show up. The court therefore granted possession to the lender. I have received the possession order, requesting the landlord hand over the property on 29th March. Local council have advised that even if lender doesn't want to continue my tenancy, they'll have to give me 2 months notice to vacate. Council will rehouse me should this happen. So i'm not overly worried as I know I won't be homeless. Just wondering what happens now that the court has given the property back to the lender...can my landlord request it back or has it now gone too far? This is approx 3rd time he's been taken to court by the lender...he has broken the terms of the original repayment plan initially set up by the court in 2008. Things usually get resolved (i.e Landlord makes a payment as he did this Feb).. only this time its gone further and the order of repossession has been granted.
  6. my car is on HP. I'm the registered keeper. For 3yrs I have made every payment. The actual finance agreement is in my ex's name. What would happen if i decided not to pay the final year of payments?
  7. Court threw out the case because no parties showed...but landlord paid £4000 off arrears end of march..but has missed mortgage payments for april & may, so solicitors have requested another hearing as arrears are now back up to around £2400. It annoys me because I don't know if I'm coming or going, whether the house will be repossessed or not...this is the 3rd time I've been in this position since the original court order made back in May 2008!
  8. had to sign new contract because i wanted to reduce my hours after having my baby
  9. my new contract started jan when I moved store. There's no way the other member would've have known about any move unless our manager told them! She likes to play 'I'm your manager & you're just a customer advisor' card. both managers conspiring together is not acceptable...he watches me constantly & reports me to her over trivial things, which I feel is wrong...she's then straight on my case lecturing & evidently threatens disiplinary action...for nothing!! If you stand up to her with your opinion,as I often do...she threatens disiplinary for that! Its ridiculous...she has pulled me up for saying 'hello' to another member of the team, declaring I was 'chatting'...then threatens action....but nothing is said to whoever I was talking to? I'm not exactly 'chatting' to myself am I?
  10. I've been working for 12 years for this well known D.I.Y company as a customer advisor. I went on maternity leave last year & didn't agree with working on the dept thay wanted to put me on when I went back in Jan,so I sought out same job role, different dept in another store and transferred down there instead. Basically according to other staff members,my manager has told them she's moving me onto another dept...without even bothering to inform me!! I was put on there for one evening temporarily ...or so I thought. It involves some heavy lifting on this dept and I've already explained that I cannot lift because I have tendonitis in my shoulder which I've had cortisone injections in already so far. The manager on this new dept totally blanks me and I feel incredibly uncomfortable in his presence. He's watched me on various occasions and reported me to my manager, who's then confronted me about different things...one occasion I was seen holding my baby son for 2 mins and he reported me for that..even though its not something I can be pulled up for! (other staff members pick their children up when they come in store...yet I was quetsioned about this?) He seems to look for any excuse to shop me to my manager..(who we think is actually having some kind of relationship with anyway) Even though my contract states I'm a customer advisor...it also states the dept I'm a customer advisor on at present. Can my manager make me change dept? I'm thinking of quitting as I don't want to work for this other manager.
  11. Good news...this new guy has understood my friends rights as an employee and honoured the contract and stuck to 35 hrs a wk. He spoke to him and the guy said 'under TUPE your hours will remain at 35 since you're under contract'...apparently he didn't seem best pleased about it though...but TOUGH!!! lol
  12. ha ha! no I'll definately stick around and let you know what happens because it may turn out useful if anyone else has the same issue one day
  13. Thank-you so much for your good advice!I'm very grateful. I'll let you know any outcome!
  14. yes the contract was with the brewery. They've just recently written them out because we had a feeling something like this was going to happen.
