  1. Hi, I took out my first wonga loan for £100 and my payment date was 24th march. Unfortunately a payment i was supposed to receive to cover it didnt turn up so i couldnt make the payment. I have however since saturday made 2 payments to reduce the loan amount. I then emailed them for help twice and didnt hear anything untill an email saying they would accept a repayment plan and if i visited my account I could set one up. When i checked my account they had set up a payment plan with three dates and three amounts which i could change the dates if they were not suitable. I changed the three payment dates to dates which i could afford all within the same months they had set them up to. I set this up and received an email which stated thanks for setting up your repayment plan and we look forward to receiving your first payment on the date I had put down and that the interest would be frozen to allow me to repay the loan. However when I have checked my account today they have changed the payment plan to 2 dates one which is tommorow which i cant afford to pay and one on the at the beginning of april and have increased the payments. I am trying to pay this off and am extremely upset by this as i feel there is nothing i can do. I have emailed customer services again and I have paid another £20 today and have left myself with no money because i am so stressed by this. I know owe £86.00 Can someone please offer any advice as to what I can do next. Thanks.
  2. Hi, I am a lone parent on jsa and in receipt of child tax credits. I have a mobile phone contract which i paid for by direct debit. However I missed a couple of payments and my direct debit to 3 was cancelled by my bank. They were unable to take any further payment and notified me and I told them i was having difficulty paying the ammount because of a benefit problem. I said I would try to make payments to clear the arrears and my service was restricted ie. no calls in or out, no emails or texts so I basically couldnt use the phone at all. I paid £25 to them and said I would try to pay the rest. Then I received a letter saying that i owed £62.36 and they were going to take this out of my account by direct debit but i believed they couldnt because the direct debit had been cancelled by the bank. Today they have taken 62.36 out of my account via direct debit which i dibnt authorise. I now have no money for frrod for me and my daughter for the rest of this week. Surely they should not have been allowed to do this and they have taken my child tax credit payment for this week. I have contacted the bank but they say that 3 didnt know the dd had been cancelled and have tried to take the money again. But why after 2 months of not trying. Is there anything i can do to get this money back if I owed it to them and they set up another direct debit without my permission. Any help would be appreciated. So worried.

  6. Wont the judge think why did I offer the payment if I couldnt afford it? Although I did have my benefit payments so I thought I would find the money.
  7. I stupidly offered this amount as I had to sort this out on my own and didnt take any advive from cab or anywhere else. Can they send the bailiffs if this payment isnt paid on time ?

  11. HI i am a lone parent and have recently had my jsa claim closed due to not being able to sign on due to illness for the third time. I made a rapid reclaim last week where the advisor told me i should receive money within 3 days of signing on this week. However the advisor I signed on with told me the claim was dormant and I would have to find out when the rapid claim would be processed, but I dont know who I contact about this. I am searching for work every day. I have had no money for 4 weeks now and really need a payment this week for food etc. I have not received an award letter as yet. Has anybody any advice?
