  1. An Update: I called Mobility first thing this morning and they informed me they wouldnt be getting involved and thanked me for informing them on the situation. I have looked for the original pcn but cant find it, god knows where I have put it. I did find a charge certificate telling the fine had increased by 50% but thats all I have at the moment. Now do I just wait for the bailliff to come back or is there something else I can do? Thanks in advance.
  2. My eldest daughter has that and I wish she would have had a teacher like you to help her. She got none to the point I took her out of school in year 10. The teachers were always blaming her for everything and just said she's naughty and wont do as shes told. they knew she had it and had a SEN statement but it made no difference to the way they treated her lol. In the end she hasnt done very well shes now 18 and is taking a break from study and returning next september atm shes at a learning program place to try and help her.
  3. My daughter is nearly 17 and is in her first year in college. She wanted to do a BTEC National in Applied Science(Forensics). The first college we to told her there noway she will get into uni with that she needs to do A levels, my daughter panicked as she had a C in English but was only heading for a D in maths and did the BTEC Science course your talking about. So i went to an open night for uni's at the school and asked them they said it was a complete lie and BTEC's were acceptable. She's now doing the course at a different college and I thought she might struggle as theres others on her course who got the GCSE's, she didnt too well she got a D in Maths, C in English, C in chilcare but the others were all below C. Her BTEC was suppose to be equivalent to B's, but on a recent meeting shes doing great. I think sometimes kids just need that chance to have a go and they will do well. My youngest daughter has just gone into yr 10 and when it came to her options they had the BTEC's but her school told me she wouldnt be doing them as she is easily able to do GSCE's. Which i was glad about thinking about the trouble my older daughter had. She wants to go into the sixth form and hs been told she needs 5 B's to be accepted. Luckily for them its not a bad school and will push the kids to do their best. I really hope your son gets to do what he wants.
