My wife was caught by an hand held speed camera doing 41mph in a 30 zone. Could she be banned from driving? She has had a clean license for years. Anyone got any ideas how much fine she could face? Thank you.

I was discharged from bankruptcy January 2014. I have been with cooperative bank for some time now even all through the bankruptcy. The cooperative group as taken a political position that stands in opposition to my religious beliefs so I want to change banks. Would anyone else be willing to accept a former bankrupt or should I just bite the bullet as much as it hurts?

I resigned my job at NHS Hospital to work for a different NHS Hospital. Can the Hospital make me take any annual leave before I leave the job instead of receiving it as pay when I leave? I'm only asking because my ward manager made me take a week off in May and said I wasn't using up my holidays quick enough and booked me a week's holiday off work without asking me first which I thought was a bit naughty at the time.

I work as an healthcare assistant for the NHS on a fixed term temporary contract. I have been offered a permanent job at another Hospital and when I told my current ward manager she said if I was offered a permanent job would I stay I said yes. My ward manager said they could rush through an emergency form to make me permanent to prevent me from leaving, The HR Department said the job has to be advertised internally on the basis of equality, my question is can I be given the job right away as I am doing the job anyway or does it have to be advertised?

I am 2 months after bankruptcy all going well. My heart sank this morning when I got a letter from aktiv kapital saying I owe them £3600 and if I don't make an offer by 31st of March to repay they will pass the debt on to their agents Empingham. What should my best course of action be? This debt was included in the bankruptcy

Telephone your old employer and speak to them about the issue. I started with NHS but had problems because I had two spells of employment with the same employer and they only gave a reference for the 2nd spell. After telephoning them I resolved the issue satisfactorily and got them to send a second reference. Hope you get sorted.

Result!!! I emailed the company who I was working for on behalf of the agency and forwarded a copy of the nasty email that I received from the agency. I then received an apology from the agency and also received the money I was owed, Really pleased a good result

I did a few weeks work for a recruitment agency. Their plan was for me to be placed in this giant food manufacturing company for 13 weeks then they would recruit me from the agency. After just 2 weeks I was offered a permanent job and left with virtually no notice. Bear in mind no notice was agreed there was nothing in writing no details on paper, The agency is refusing to pay me for the second week of work. Can they legally withhold wages? Even though I only gave one days notice What is my best course of action? I am owed about £ 280

My Daughter took her car to Halfords to buy new wiper blades and have them fitted by their staff. when she was driving home shortly afterwards she noticed an hairline crack in the windscreen about 12 inches long my wife went with my daughter to complain to Halfords as the crack was not there before. They spoke to their customer care care centre and said its a stone chip which must have already been there. We spoke to the manager and he said he will try to call in some favours to get it fixed is there any course of action we can take if they cannot resolve this?

Yes the neighbor contacted the police herself, we spotted them parked up at her house about a week ago, What frustrates us is she alleges the incident took place in August this year but just 2 weeks ago a delivery man knocked on our door and asked us if we could take a parcel in for this neighbor, we agreed and he put a card through her door to inform her that the parcel was with us. We waited and waited for her to call round and collect it but she sent the young girl round on her own to collect it, Call me naive but if you suspected your daughter was at risk would you send her round to the very house the incident is alleged to have taken place?

after many months of anguish we reported our next door neighbour to the council for noise as she has 4 Chihuahua dogs and they are constantly barking and yapping for extended periods of time on a daily basis. About 2 weeks letter we get a telephone call from a Social worker saying that my next door neighbour has reported my 15 year old son to the police for exposing himself to her 2 young daughters who are 5 and 7 years of age during mid summer. The social worker stated that the police will be coming out to our home to speak to us and our son regarding the allegation. We have questioned him and he denies it outright we have warned him of the seriousness of the allegation and the potential consequences yet he still is adamant he has done nothing, my son is one of those who finds lying incredibly difficult so we are convinced he is telling the truth. My question is what should my next course of action be? Can we ask the police for the interview to be recorded? should we need it later down the Line. Can we arrange for it to be done at the Police station instead of our home?

Does anyone have a Scooby doo how long it takes from start to finish for an official receiver to suspend an Automatic discharge from Bankruptcy?

Is it true that the DWP, the NI office and the Tax office are all put on alert by the official receiver to notify them within days of any changes in circumstances? I am on the verge of being offered a job but i am less than 8 weeks to go before automatic discharge, trouble is if i took the job and did not tell official receiver its a criminal offence. If i tell the Official receiver and get an IPA/IPO which on the expected salary i would then face another 3 years of debt which would be a tragedy as i am so close to the finishing line. Please any advice is most welcome.
